Ottsville location late to open. Called but nobody answered the phone. It's raining and I'm waiting in my car. Oh, here comes another vehicle onto the lot. One left already. A red car is idling in the middle of the lot. What's up with that?

All the manager does is sit in the office and talk on his phone is ignorant does not come out even when I ring the bell and when he is talking to a customer he's always talking about some other company. I think at even one point he said that he was a Grammy award winning producer. If that is true than why are you a manager for a Dollar General? Makes no sense. Also rude. Kim and Nadeen are awsome though. Maybe one of them should be manager other than this guy. If an election comes up to vote for a new manager you bet I will be first in line. P.S why the fake gold tooth?

The guys at work and were very nice. Even one got me a cart when I bought too much. And they helped me out.

This is a review of the FedEx drop off location not the actual store. DO NOT have packages rerouted here they literally just leave them in a pile near the door . Anyone could prob walk in and out and steal them in fact I challenge anyone reading this to try !

Worst Dollar General. Walked in with my two children, aged two and one. Manager walked by me coughing in my face while saying “oh s***”. Other people working there are pretty chill, but this one woman is always so horrible.

This is the 3rd time in less than 2 weeks that I’ve gone to dollar general in Ottsville and they are closed. The web site says 10pm but it’s 5:18 pm sun shining and they are closed, last week they closed at 3pm! 3! mean like what the hell!!!!! I’ve watched 6 cars pull in to go in in the lady 5 min not knowing they are closed. They are losing slot of business including mine!

I'm a pretty big fan of Dollar General, but I was extremely impressed with how nice this one was.And the grocery section, unbelievable! There was a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and the refrigerated section was enormous!

store was always well stocked and clean every time i’d go in over the last several months, i go in today and it looks like they’re closing, produce case is empty, shelves half empty, cashier told me there was a change in management due to the previous manager’s ethical concerns about the company, thats unfortunate, was a really nice store, won’t be returning after googling all these issues dollar general has with staffing and their whole backwards business model

Pro's: Decent prices and a huge inventory! This Dollar General (Ottsville location) is a great alternative to the only other two stores in "town", Turkey Hill and CVS. Cons: The hours are inconsistent. Says they are open until 10pm. I got there at 7:55 last week and was told I had 5 minutes to shop as the store was closing at 8pm. On a few other occasions I've gotten there well before closing only to find a sign on the door that states "We had to close early". Verdict: Decent place to shop, but call before you go!

Store seems understaffed,isles very disorganized due to lack of enough staff to put items away which I understand hoping this changes for the better.I suggest put all clearance items in same isle and label isles with items at end easyer to find items

The checkout area was poorly designed. Covid has made things difficult everywhere but this is ridiculous. The tiny opening in the safety divider makes the already cramped countertop frustrating and aggravating.
