I tried to be seen yesterday and the lady stated no walk ins during the week you have to make an appointment since when this is a walk in clinic she stated weekends only!

most, but no all, were very cold and not very personable at all.when you are in the medical field part of your job is too be kind and compassionate to those that have medical issues.they seem like they are miserable with their jobs. however the best of the staff work in the surgery center.

NEVER AGAIN!!I have tried repeatedly to give this place a chance and bottom line is they care more about making money than you as a patient! Treat you like cattle, in and out, zero kindness then DOUBLE CHARGE services. I'm so sick of seeing providers who see you as dollar signs.

I have gone here for many reasons. I have had nothing but excellent and efficient care. I like that I can go for everything at one location. The physical and occupational therapy was excellent also.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. You can not schedule an appointment directly, you must wait for them to call you at their convenience. I also can never get my life saving prescriptions in a timely period. They DO NOT RESPOND IN A TIMELY MANNER. POORLY RUN.

Worst hospital billing system in the area. Hang up on you, send bills with no information, say you haven't paid things you have, send you to carepayment instead of sending you bills, and 4+ different bills for procedures for the hospital, pathology, the doctor, and the anesthesia, absolutely insanity. New online system won't tell you what they're billing you for. I will never go to an excela hospital or lab again.

This facility has the rudest reception people I have encountered anywhere. Came in on a Saturday to an empty lobby with 3 employees at the desk. Was told to take a number and wait. Waited 15 minutes while one young lady played on her phone one young man sat there smiling at me and the third shuffle papers. When I asked if they would at least check me in I was told they were busy just sit down and wait and was ignored again. Asked to speak to a manager and was told no one was available. I'll never go here for lab work again.

This place is a waste of time and money. Yes, they are able to do X-rays and an mri but there is ZERO urgency. They’ll do the bare minimum and send you home with crutches. Verifying mri coverage with your insurance can take 5-7 days so if you’re in pain, save yourself hassle and just go to the ER.

Excela Quick-Draw is the worst! Understaffed and loads of people stuck in one area! Talk about trying to reduce spread...not sure being understaffed helps anyone as it only creates a breading ground! No temp check and one person working the front desk with a line of 10 on 3/6/21 at 8:15AM E. Walked in directions for blood draw and tests are a mess and no one was sure what to do and clerk left the desk. Walked in, walked out 2xs this week and as a result switching Drs and hospitals. Don't waste your time, level of care is dismal and good news Westmoreland County now has more choices!

Dr. Thor Mathos Has been my primary care physician for approximately 15+ years, and I can honestly say that I have been through the ringer with the multiple diagnoses that I have I am a complex case to say the least. Dr. Mathos has been instrumental in coordinating all of my care with all of my doctors, and there are many, but he always takes an active role in every single one. I honestly can say that I trust my life with him and I know that my life is in wonderful hands!! he has caught things that have eluded many doctors and me for several years, and with his insight, determination and absolutely impressive body of knowledge, he has been able to make my quality-of-life much better. He is not one to just listen and then tell you what to do, he actually listens and works with you on how to approach every situation that you’re going through. I don’t think that I have enough words to show my gratitude for this phenomenal Physician. I am so incredibly lucky to have him as my primary care physician i.e. my PC. He coordinates everything and he is on top of everyone. Even though I may not be linked to UPMC or other providers through Excela Health, he make sure that he’s linked in and talks to the professionals that I’m working with to make sure that I get the upmost attention and care and that he is on top of exactly what is going on with my current care from all doctors and all professionals, from all of the different providers in the area and there are many! He is not one to only stay within his bounds of a system that he “ Professionally associated and works with“ but he will recommend me to the best people that he knows that are out there in the field. I can assure you also that he make sure that I am not going to be stuck with a bill to somebody that’s out of my network… This doctor and his staff takes the extra effort that it takes to make sure that I am covered every single way there could possibly be financially and most importantly medically!!I highly recommend Dr. Mathos. On more than one occasion when seeking information from other “independent specialists”, he is actually been able to figure out what has been going on with me prior to them even starting with a work up!! he’s no nonsense in a great way, because he really listens he asks the right questions, he gives the phenomenal advice, he will admit if he doesn’t know but he’ll find the answer and get back to you! That’s amazing! The best part of it all is he just thinks that’s just the way it should be… You know what he’s right and I am so incredibly blessed that I have this wonderful man who thinks that way because everyone should be treated that way. He is incredible, intelligent, patient, kind, caring, has a phenomenal bedside manner, is direct, thorough, and his staff is just phenomenal to top it all off! I guess that would be the cherry on top!! I am so thankful to have Dr. Mathos as my primary care physician because without him, even though I’m an extremely educated woman and can’t speak for myself, I know he’s there to oversee everything and catch something when others just don’t really put the extra into it. To him that’s just what you’re supposed to do, I just wish there were 1 million more like him, actually I wish there were 1 billion more like him! The world could use many more phenomenal doctors like Dr. Thor Mathos, DO He has on more than one occasion requested letters from specialists to send him exactly what their method of care and treatment plan is for me so that Dr. Mathos is aware of exactly how and what they are doing with me as their patient, if they don’t respond back to him he make sure to follow Up!!His staff is also just the best in the world… No matter how many referrals I need or questions I may have they are always so incredibly patient, on top of everything and just be on belief kind, caring and literally go the extra mile. Thank you Emily, Dianne, and all the new people who have just joined you’re in a wonderful place and I think God every day that I have all of you In charge of not only my care but my husbands as well.

Awful gynecologist! My blood pressure was a little high at when I was there last, so they took it twice after I told them that it was going to be higher because I was at the doctors and that's just how I get every time. Well that was December 3rd and now I went to pick up my birth control and it wasn't there, so I called and they said I have to schedule an appointment before they call it in so I can get my blood pressure rechecked because it was high after I told them that it will be higher every time and it wasn't even that high. The worst part is that they never once told me when I was there that I had to schedule another appointment for my blood pressure to be checked and they won't prescribe me my birth control until the appointment. I will never be returning, I would not recommend going here at all!

Waited 45 minutes to be told that the doctor wouldn't treat me. If you want to be made to feel like garbage, this is the place. Stay as far away from Excela as humanly possible where you are just a number, especially to the general practitioners. And if you do go there, make sure you find out what the doctor's notes are. They really do put inappropriate and negative remarks that stay on your record. Avoid at all costs. Found a wonderful practice that understands and treats me with individualized care, and life is good :)

THIS PLACE SUCKS!! My boyfriend went to the pain center we sat there over an hour and a half the doctor came in for 10 min. Said i want u to go to PT. And that was it. My boyfriend also told the front desk his address has changed they said ok at first but when my boyfriend looked at the papers after we got in the car they still didnt change the address so he went back in to have them change it they said the address doesnt matter and wouldnt change it so my boyfriend said forget he will just find another doctor.
