Was in town for a wedding, bought a brand-new dress for the occasion, put it on, exited the minuscule bathroom with the door that opens into the bathroom, and it brushed against me (the parameter of the door is not sanded properly and could snag anything). My dress was ruined before I could even attend the wedding. Even worse was the lack of response from management. Only after SEVEN phone calls was I even able to speak to the manager , who essentially accused me of lying by saying that he was unable to reproduce the event. Atrocious customer service.

Our experience at New Hope Inn and Suites was extremely disappointing. Upon arriving, we found the room to be in poor condition, with cobwebs in the corners and bugs everywhere. The whirlpool tub we were looking forward to using didn’t work, which added to our frustrations.
The noise level was another major issue. This is definitely not a quiet location. We could easily hear everything happening outside, from people talking in the courtyard to traffic from the nearby parking lot. To make matters worse, an alarm started going off in the courtyard at 5 a.m., and the staff was unable to shut it off. It was a terrible way to be woken up, and the noise continued for far too long.
The bed was uncomfortable, sagging into the middle, and oddly supported by bricks underneath. It made sleeping nearly impossible. The exterior of the hotel also looked like it was falling apart, which matched the run-down feel inside.
Overall, this stay was neither relaxing nor enjoyable, and we were relieved to check out. We will not be returning.

"The place needs an urgent update; the walls and floors are dirty, especially in the hallways and stairwells—extremely dirty. The carpets and sofas inside the room are stained and full of dirt. The towels smell bad and it seems they are not washed properly. The small soap and shampoo provided for your use are the cheapest on the market and don't even lather. The most incredible thing of all is that when you go to have breakfast in any hotel, the majority of people look for coffee or at least tea, and this place doesn't even have hot water for you to make tea. The excuse they give you at the front desk is that they regret it, but the coffee machine broke down that same day. It might be true; I give them the benefit of the doubt, but the next day it was the same—there was no coffee and no hot water to at least have a tea. For the money I paid for two days in two rooms, the least I expected was clean towels and at least hot water or coffee, but that was not the case. If you are considering staying here for a night, think twice. I went to the front desk twice and even spoke with the person in charge of at least putting hot water, and without any kindness, they told me there is none, period. Horrible experience at this place. If I could give zero stars, I would."
Food and drinks: "The breakfast is horrible, there is no coffee and no hot water for tea either."

What can I say, oh baby, I loved my stay. Can I start by telling you I haven’t had a dream in about six months and for some reason I had THREE last night in the absolutely beautiful beds made available to me by the New Hope Inn & Suites. In one of them my high school english teacher operated a small shop selling clothes, trinkets and CDs — naturally, I purchased Songs About Jane by Maroon 5. The other two dreams are not appropriate to share with perfect strangers… nuff said! The art is EXQUISITE here and I would know; I am an accomplished art critic from New York City, NY. The bathroom was modest, yes, but clean, as were the bedsheets. Thank you to the management for such a beautiful experience. My sister is marrying her step-cousin today so I am thrilled to have gotten such a good night sleep.

Definitely not worth $225 a night. The bolt for the interior swing latch was broken off. The smoke detector was beeping, and when we told the front desk the battery needed to be replaced, they tried to get my husband to do it. The room was damp because there was a gap at the bottom of the door. Sound of the train is very noticeable. It looks like updates have been done to the pool and bar, at the expense of the actual guest rooms.

Staff was kind and accommodating including the cleaning staff. However, for $250 a night this is rough. You don't even pay that for 3+ star hotels.
There were LEARGE dead crickets on our floor insinuating it wasn't vacuumed very well. The bathroom and Whirpool tub look like it hadn't been cleaned more than a rinse. I can't imagine the bacteria coming off of those jets. Somehow the most annoying thing was the outlets don't actually hold a normal plug, which is a fire hazard, but also confusing for 2024. Our bed was clean which was nice, but the room itself was in dismal shape. I have a feeling the owners just don't care to update the old old property since they know people are visiting the beautiful area regardless which is just a shame. But cleaning the rooms should not be that big of an investment.

Rooms are ok. They need better pillows. No ice maker.

This is a motel from the 1970s, judging by the derelict tennis court and architecture, and the current management has done about as much as can be done with the rooms. Furnishings are well tended; beds are comfortable. Service was very helpful. Breakfast was more than Continental, but pretty basic. The pool and adjacent areas are well maintained. Partying parties seemed to enjoy themselves very much, but nighttime noise was not excessive.

Easy access off of 202 with top notch staff. Housekeeping was thoroughly trained and care about their services. They were polite and helpful in their cleaning services.
Front of house was always helpful and also navigated the small store inside. The rooms come with complimentary coffee and there are no vending machines. Most snacks were around $2 or less and the room came with a free bottle of water. I was here for a conference that had nice table and chair options as well as the ability to lounge by the pool
The gazebo was a nice hangout place to smoke cigars with friends at nights end.
The elevator helps navigate the 1st floor which is ground level with the office and above the rooms that dropped into a lower level.
The pool area was clean with a large bin full of fresh and clean towels.
The upper bar had a nice longe area for presentations and performers.
Booking through a group, or mid-week provided significantly lower cost vs weekend rates

This is the third time I've stayed here. The rooms are nice and clean. The pool is like an oasis.

This is a Motel not a hotel. Your room doors open in parking lot Rooms, bathrooms are basic and small. You constantly hear people waking by and I couldn’t sleep! AC was too loud and wasn’t working. All this for $300/night is a rip off.
