Our 6 month old yorkie needed extensive dental work and he got first rate care here. It was a very detailed surgery and we were provided xrays and photos of all the work completed. We were kept up to date on every detail by Brittany and would definitely come back here for any further needs.

Dr. Valese took excellent care of our cat throughout the surgery process. He provided us with pictures and explained the entire procedure with us. He answered all of our questions and are very grateful for him. His staff is excellent as well, especially Hope and Brittany!

Our kitty Lilith was cared for by Dr. Valese and staff when she had to have full mouth dental surgery. We were kept well informed of the procedure and what to expect afterwards. What a caring group! After the surgery, we were contacted several times by Kelly and others to update them on Lilith's progress.Another kitty of ours, Blue, is also being cared for by Dr. Valese and staff. This is a fantastic group to have care for your pets. They all listen to your concerns and address them.Lilith is a happy kitty, and Blue's condition has improved tremendously as a result of the treatment plan he is under.I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono to care for all your pets.

When our brown tabby, Winston, suffered a cracked lower jaw, our family vet wired the jaw to help it heal properly. Our vet then suggested that we consult with an animal dentistry specialist, Dr. Joseph Valese, at All Pets Dental Care & Oral Surgery, and have him monitor Winston's progress. When taking X-rays to check the healing, Dr. Valese found three teeth that needed to be removed.Dr. Valese's skill as an oral surgeon and extensive knowledge of feline dentistry ensured that Winston healed properly from the cracked jaw and suffered little or no discomfort from the three extractions.Not only is Dr. Valese a highly skilled oral surgeon, he is kind and compassionate. He treated Winston as if he were the Valese family cat. He even gave Winston a nickname, which has stuck. He asked me regularly, "How is our Winnie doing for you at home."The staff who worked with me, Hope, Kelly, and Josh, were very caring and knowledgeable. They answered many of my questions, and, when they didn't know an answer, they checked with Dr. Valese and got right back to me. Hope called and sent emails regularly to check on Winnie's progress. When Winston was scheduled for discharge after his surgery, I was worried that I might be a bit late arriving at the office, due to Friday rush hour traffic. Kelly said, "Don't worry! We'll all be here until Winston goes home." Josh's mild manner made Winston feel relaxed and safe.Thanks to Dr. Valese and his expert staff, Winnie is doing beautifully and is, once again, our happy, easy going, and loving kitty.

All Pets Dental Care & Oral Surgery in Mt Ponoco is great! I’ve never experienced a vet office that is more efficient and organized. The staff is compassionate and Kelly, in particular, is wonderful and keeps you updated on what’s going on. Dr Valese’s expertise is invaluable and we travel over 1 1/2 hour each way for them to treat our fur babies! So glad we found them!

My boxer puppy had brown puppy teeth. The Dr took such wonderful care of him and kept me informed of everything. The office staff is amazing and friendly. Highly recommend.

Our vet had indicated that our Boston Terrier needed dental work and recommended us to Dr Valese at the Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono.This journey began with our consultation which we took our dog to get evaluated. During the evaluation, Dr Valese described his initial findings and recommended to bring him in for x-rays and a cleaning, that would give a better picture of what is going on where you can’t see which I completely understood.I was provided an estimate for services, which having done research, dental work for dogs can be a lot more than some other types of procedures due to what is involved.Day of his Dental work, Kelly greeted me at the counter inside and talked me through some of the basics and asked some additional information, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Before they took our dog back, Dr Valese came out to discuss what he was going to do and answered any questions I had.This indicated they would call around 4pm to get me for an update and they did.Later in the day I received the call our dog was ready for pick up, the process was simple and straight forward.This next part is truly what defines a 5 star rating, Dr Valese call me prior to bringing our dog out and went through the details of what he did, I was provided a packet which contained phots, notes and over all dental records. I was overly impressed by the attention to detail Dr. Valese put in to creating this document which provided a thorough look at what was done and why.This in my option was beyond expectations and I will honestly recommend Dr Valese to anyone who needs dental care for the furry companion.Mark and Anita!

Called here and they refused to give me a quote or range or any indication of cost before hand. The salesman on the phone literally told me that she had no idea what it would cost to clean a dogs teeth.Read the other reviews. It appears that this location is running a scam.Mark this review as helpful so that others dont get ripped off.

This vets office need to be shut down. The vet is running a racket to charge you to go back in the room to be there with your pet to be examined. The office says they started doing the since covid. It appears they been doing it for years. Reports of negligence and more not good very shady with this office. If you have issues go to Joeys Legacy wonderful place to help you get in touch with a attorney to help your medical practice case with this vet. This vet is no good took my pet here never again. Please people use your heard and investigate any medical care for your pets.

Associates were prompt and efficient when scheduling appointment. This was not my primary care Vet but I was treated as though I were. All the staff were pleasant and courteous. I saw the Dr for a special dental issue for my pet and he was very helpful when explaining the issue and corrective treatment. Would recommend this facility to anyone.

HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for just a cleaning or have a pet that needs oral attention. I have a 3 year old pit mix and I discovered a large tumor in his mouth in October/November 2020. The staff was very accommodating and even called me once a cancellation was available to speed up the process. Dr Valese examined him and made a treatment plan right away. We did end up having to remove almost half of his bottom jaw which was a very scary experience not knowing what to expect. Even with booking out a few weeks, once again a cancellation was available and I was immediately called. The staff, especially Kelly, was always right there to help, so professional and really cares about you and your pet. Dr Valese did an INCREDIBLE job with my dogs tumor removal and reconstruction. I could not be more thankful for Dr Valese and this practice for saving my dogs life and giving me the best experience possible through such a trying time!

When I rescued my cat from a shelter she was underweight, her mouth was bleeding and she had trouble eating. Her vet diagnosed her with stomatitis. After a round of antibiotics and steroids and extraction of a few teeth failed to meaningfully improve her situation, I was referred to All Pets Dental Care because she would likely need all of her teeth extracted.At her first appointment with Dr. Valese, we discussed our goals of care. He listened when I said I wanted to save as many of her teeth as possible. He prescribed a dental care regimen and extracted the teeth that were not salvageable. His staff texted me to check on her progress - the entire office clearly cared for the health and happiness of my pet.I am happy to say she is now very comfortable, playful and has a strong appetite. We will continue to follow-up regularly with Dr. Valese to protect her remaining teeth :)

My pup needed a very aggressive tumor removed from her upper jaw and palate. The tumor was removed, the incision healed without incident. My pup has absolutely NO deficits!! You can't even tell she is missing a portion of her upper jaw. She eats like she did before she had the tumor. The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. I couldn't be happier. We are so grateful to them all.
