A surprisingly impressive venue attached to a local university. Most of the signage posts to the University, so I'd give a quick look around to be aware of what you'll see.The space is lively, professional, and provides support for shows of the size the book. I had an excellent time at Babyklok tour 2023, and caught some amazing clips and pictures. As well as memories I'm going to hold onto for a long time.

It was really nice inside and easy to figure out where everything is. ALOT of seating and friendly staff. Perfect place to go to a concert

Really nice place for a concert! Parking was easy due to a low crowd for baby metal, but there was still a line outside. I really liked how the bathrooms were not a mile away, and you could still hear it if you needed to go. They were very clean! The only downside to this place is that they need to fix the labels to the entrance where GA and people who have sitting go. There were many lines going in different doors, so we ended up going in the wrong line and got wristbands even though we were sitting. We didn't realize until we got home that they gave us standing room admission, which met we could have gone on the floor if we wanted to. Also, the merch section was labeled very poorly. There were 7 lines at one point, and nobody knew where we were going. The line even ended up going into the arena at one point all the way towards the right side by the seets. Also, if you are sitting in the back, be sure to bring Binoculars. There was no jumbo screen to see close, so we had to squint and use our phones a lot. The sound was great! We left early cause we only came for babymetal and beat the crowds so we didn't get stuck in traffic! Overall, we really liked the space!

Nice arena for concerts. Went to Incubus and had a great time. Elevated seats are not bad views.

I wanted to love this location, so much. There is not a bad seat in the house. The venue is nicely sized while still having seats instead of standing room like many other small venues. Parking was easy. BUT! -The acoustics are absolutely AWFUL. It can't be explained in words just how terrible the sound is. Went to the Incubus show and if I didn't know the songs by heart already, I wouldn't have been able to tell a word they sung. Constant peaking and echoes, almost painful to listen to. It was the biggest disappointment. To the venue: if you're going to continue to book musical acts, you've GOT to get a hold on this sound issue. It's literally so bad I will never return, even if my favorite band in the world were playing, until I hear about some acoustic paneling being installed or something being done at all to correct it.

Nice venue, more intimate than I was expecting, but parking is atrocious. Get there early or be prepared to walk, and if you're not familiar with the campus, I hope your phone can guide you to your car. The sound was great and I'm glad they served beer.

Nice venue for a concert. The seating is very comfortable and you have ample room if you are tall. The stadium food and beverages provided were inexpensive. The parking is well organized and the walk to the stadium doesn’t take that long. The campus is beautiful so you can focus on that while you are walking. Nice landscaping!! The venue itself is very very clean. The only traffic getting there was waiting to park and waiting to leave the parking lot but there is a back exit if you don’t want to drive out the way you came in.

Saw the Counting Crows. Fantastic show, helpful staff and amazing parking. My "cheap" seat was still pretty great. Honestly a tad chilly, take a sweater lol.

Not a bad seat in the place. Parking was stress free. Easy in and easy out. Only thing I would change is to improve the concessions. $15 bucks for a Truly and no Miller Lite.

Went to see The Used and Pierce the Veil. Seats are tightly packed so it's a tad uncomfortable but a great environment. About normal pricing for food and drinks. Even the high seats are great for watching a concert. Will go to this venue again.

I really like attending events here. It’s modern and easy to navigate. I’ve never had to wait very long for the rest room or concessions/merch. There can be a bottleneck where they have alcohol stands by the entrance to the lower bowl, but it’s easy to cut thru. Sound can be hit or miss, but if you wear concert earplugs you should be fine. Parking is not great, especially when it’s a sold-out show. Arrive early to avoid parking across campus and leave a song or two early if you don’t want to sit in line. It’s one way in, one way out so not an ideal design but it’s free.

The building itself is nice but it's very uncomfortable. I'm 5' 10" 200 lbs and I was extremely cramped in the stadium seating. If you're any larger than me you're probably not going to be very comfortable. I don't know about the floor seating, maybe that's better. Also, I had to park in the back parking lot, but all entrances except the bottom floor main entrance is closed to entry and exit. The problem with this is that the walk way from where I parked, to the building, only goes to an upper level entrance that was closed, so everyone who came from the lot I was in, myself included, had to trudge down a slippery muddy grass hillside from the sidewalk, down around the building, to the main entrance. This place is a college basketball stadium, and someone thought "well pitt has concerts at the Peterson, why not us?" Without thinking even remotely thinking about accessibility. I'll probably only ever go here again if I have a general admission ticket.

Great smaller venue for concerts. Just right for the show we saw! I'll be back in August! #billyidol #incubus

Recently attended a Donnie Iris concert which was great... But was surprised at the lack of handicapped parking. Having a handicapped placard made no impact on those directing traffic. Once inside certain stairs to the floor were blocked, making for additional walking which was a struggle for the senior citizens in our group. On a positive note it was a nice small venue that was clean with good views of the stage.

I'm a big fan of concerts in UPMC Events Center, at Robert Morris University. The venue is intimate and small in size, but is like a mini version of a large sports arena. We love that any seat you get at UPMC Events Center is going to be a good one because there are no nose bleed sections, and everything is relatively close. There aren't any jumbotron screens, but you aren't missing any moments by not having that feature here.Every time we've gone, parking has always been free, although I don't know if that's not always the case. Campus is easy enough to navigate a quick walk to the center from any parking area you might find. The concessions are what you'd expect from a concession stand. The soft pretzels didn't change my life, but they curbed my snack itch!Definitely recommend this venue for concerts.
