Rooms are clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable and everyone was friendly..Been living here since October . things has been very good and professional. I like how the staff are helpful and understanding. Staff make you feel at home and comfortable.

The associates at the monroeville location are very helpful and kind. From maintenence to the front desk each person is truly happy to greet me. I feel like I'm at home. Thank you all for a great experience.

Sheets and mattress pad were stained, room stank like cigarettes, the peep hole was filled in with a paper towel and the glass was missing, coffee was cold…Rooms: The room smelled like someone emptied an ashtray in it.

Food & drinks: Breakfast is just granola bars, packaged muffins (,the blueberry one was really artificial tasting) of packets of oatmeal. The coffee was decent at breakfast.

The room was very clean and smelled fresh. It did not have that stale smell where you have to turn on the air to rid the smell. It was in a great area next to a variety of restaurants.Rooms: Very clean and modernNearby activities: Close to bowling ctr, mall and lots of restaurantsSafety: The doors lock at a certain hour and you must use your key to get in or pick up phone to enter

This place was soooo dirty !! If I could have left and went somewhere else I would have . upon first entering there was still food and wrappers on the floor . The fridge still has food left in it and something was spilled in it . The very front room / kitchen area looked like the walls had never been cleaned food splatter everywhere. Everything was dusty or sticky . My daughter dropped he cup of juice on the kitchen floor and when I used a towel to wipe it up the towel turned black clearly nothing had been cleaned in some time . I did go get some cleaning products to try and sanitize some .The one younger kid working the front desk was nice but the lady working the front had no customer service skills. I walked down with the baby to get a couple towels due to me having to clean with the ones already in the room and she rudely told me if I wanted towels I had to bring down the other ones first . If you can stay somewhere else do so

We booked to stay at this place at the end of June. Once we arrived, we noticed the lobby was filthy. The elevator was filthy . And it just continued up to the room.The flooring is vinyl and it was sticky with dirt. Evidence it had not been cleaned or vacuumed. Crumbs and debri of some sort around the bed and the desk. We knew we could not stay at this place. Told the lady at the front desk, she understood and gave us our money back. Hence the one star.Just don't stay here!

The Duran Duran concert was awesome. This hotel, not so much. It was a place for 2 dudes to crash after the concert, and it was better than sleeping in the car or a 3 hour road trip back home beginning at midnight.It looks great from the outside, just watch out for the car swallowing craters in the parking lot. Once inside, well, my wife would have been mortified. When we got to the room, the tile portion of the floor had water on it, coming from the bathroom. The source appeared to be near the shower, so I'll assume that it was not toilet water. I wiped this up with a towel. My son straightened the first lamp shade we came across in the room, but after looking at the rest of the room, the straightened lamp shade looked out of place. He put it back to the way it was, crooked. There was dust everywhere - on every lampshade, in every corner, and on every surface including parts of the walls. The tiny spaces of the floor between things had a layer of dust and whatever managed to land there. If a quick zip with the vacuum didn't get it, it wasn't gotten. The inside of every drawer contained hair (the short and curly type). The drawer in the night stand - let's just say that I opened it, looked into it, then gently closed it to not disturb the organic mystery that was lurking inside. The inside of the refrigerator and cabinets were also dirty and dusty. My son suggested that I not open the microwave. (smart kid)There was a single bar of soap in the bathroom, but no shampoo. Thankfully, as needed, I pilfer the extra shampoo from hotels when I travel. We hit the Denny's up the road for a real breakfast.

Staff is helpful. But the rooms are old and disgusting. There’s mildew smell. Carpet disgusting. Bathroom not cleaned properly. Cleaning crew needs to be changed or trained properly.

What a terrible day not to have hazmat pajamas.UPDATE: might have bed bugs now. Didn't have them before staying at this hotel. Haven't slept anywhere but my own bed since. You do the math. Oh, and avoid this hotel like the literal plague. Certainly felt like things were crawling on me during the night when I stayed there.

First time visiting the Pittsburgh area. My Brother recommended your facility. I enjoyed my stay, because of your location and the price was right for the area. I was well rested for my return trip home to Warner Robins Ga.

Gross, foul and filthy. I’d rather sleep next to the dumpster behind Primanti’s.Dusty, crumbs, hair and bloody sheets!This place hasn’t been cleaned in forever.First room I received had a bloody mattress cover that a saw through my bottom sheet. GROSS!!!!! I was immediately given a new room but it was filthy. It was so late I just crashed in what seemed like a clean bed.Rooms smell like the bottom of a bird cage.Kitchenette filthy. Hair in bathrooms.If I wasn’t STUCK here this weekend I would’ve stayed somewhere else. I cannot believe what they charge per night in this dump.This place is just….YUCK! Don’t do it.Get it together Extended Stay, seriously!You should be mortified for booking rooms in this filth.

I checked in and was accommodated with my first floor room that I requested the staff was amazing at the desk every single one of them on every shift go above and beyond to help with the issues I had a unfortunate water leak. I was immediately put in a new room and the leak was fixed in one day. The rooms are extremely clean, compared to other Pittsburgh hotels that I’ve been in and the price is lower than any hotel in Pittsburgh and I do mean any, the manager, Jess is amazing when you are carrying things in they all jump up to help you the security is extremely good. The doors are locked. The only thing is Negative was other guest abusing the laundry facilities, which is not the hotel or staffs fault you just have to make sure you clean it and wipe it down before you do laundry , that’s the only negative that I have encountered since I’ve been here and the water leak was caused by a faulty pipe. They immediately cleaned it up and offered to help me move. They help bring in luggage groceries. Anything you’re doing the kitchen is stocked with dish strainer and utensils and plates and cups and bowls for one person it really is amazing , anything negative they’re right on top of it they take care of it immediately so if you want the best place for your money and all of Pittsburgh, it is definitely Monroeville Extended Stay everybody else is price gouging, one other hotel meaning a Wyndham property had the rate double what I am paying here and I saw drug deals in the parking lot when I just went in to check on availability so regardless of it being a Hampton a resident whatever stay with Extended Stay they’re amazing and you get a continental breakfast with also includes prepackaged muffins, oatmeal and coffee, but everything else is above and beyond you will find your stay amazing and more bang for your money best hotel in Pittsburgh by far only hotel not price gouging I can honestly say I texted Comfort Inn that was supposed to have Extended Stay and they were double the price of here and had Coston tape everywhere and very rude staff but you won’t find that at Extended Stay you’ll be very pleased so if u are looking for quiet secure caring clean hotel that you don’t have to worry about your safety. You definitely wanted to use this hotel. It’s amazing out of all of Pittsburgh, hands-down, the best for the money you’re spending and unfortunately, every hotel in Pittsburgh is price gouging more than anywhere else in the country except Extended Stay Monroeville PA, and has the most amazing staff that go above and beyond enjoy and God bless hope it helps.
