Booked on my own for arriving at Harrisburg airport while flying Allegiant. Arrived at counter of National car rental and the wonderful Sherry took great care of me with my rental. Super friendly and even recommended a great place to get breakfast! Car was clean and smelled new. I got a Toyota since I own one so no learning curve. My Apple car play connected and I had GPS! Returning was fast and efficient, gentlemen was same friendly and efficient too. I would definitely rent Alamo again!

Don't rent your car here.
Spend $20 on the Uber. To come here to pick up a car. They have in the information in the system. And they still didn't want to give me my car because I didn't have my credit card present at the time. It's a shame because I rented cars thru them so many times will not EVER rent again.

Horrible. Rented a vehicle in Nashville through Allegiant. It was a new Jeep Sahara with just over 1000 miles on it. Broke down on day 2. We were visiting Vanderbilt for a tour and it stopped dead in the road. We had our 3 daughters with us. I took them to a restaurant while my husband waited for a tow truck...gave up after an hour. Got the Jeep started but broke down two more times on the major highway to the airport. We had to take an Uber back to our condo. No offer from staff to help, even had someone hang up on him. Furthermore we had tickets to the Opry. He was so stressed he forgot to remove our items from Vanderbilt from the vehicle. We filed a report immediately and tried to call Alamo but never got through to a human. They still have not found our items which means they were likely stolen by a staff member. We were 30 minutes late for the Opry, (tickets weren't cheap,) lost $200 worth of irreplaceable merchandise from Vanderbilt due to likely theft and still were not able to be compensated due to booking through Allegiant. (Don't do that either.) We lost a good amount of money and had a very stressful day out of our 3 short days and first time in Nashville due to Alamo...all because of Alamo's service and no compensation because we booked through Allegiant! (Obviously, we are not done trying to get money back.) They did refund around $150 but we are still out over $600.

Booked thru delta. Pick up was a breeze. The actual Alamo counter was closed- but National (right next to it) handled everything. Had to show that I had already paid for insurance as they kept asking if I wanted to add it on. Handed keys, walked to the lot and was on my way. I do wish they had washed the exterior of the car.

I am highly disappointed with Alamo. I’ve been renting from them for years and have even rented from one area and dropped off at another location and was charged a reasonable fee which was $90. Well yesterday I rented a vehicle and in the midst of having a rental my family member passed away that lived in NJ. Grant you I got my rental from the Harrisburg International Airport was $217. So what did I do, I started rearranging our flights to leave from NJ instead (check). Now let’s contact Alamo to notify them I will be flying out of NJ instead. (Alamo CSR: hi yes that additional fee/charge will be $800)! Wait why $800. That is a ridiculous charge. Still no help. So I ended up returning the car back and booking a Lyft ride from Harrisburg to NJ for the same price my total rental would have been. On top of this I’m traveling with my son who’s autistic. Alamo showed no sympathy or empathy. I hope you guys work on set fees for when a car is returned to another location. Like for instance, the average mileage to the location and how much it would be to refill the gas tank. No one shouldn’t have endure what I went through last night. I hope this is something this organization can learn from. I have a two star because the rep that was at the location I rented helped me last night with returning and was the only one who showed they were truly sorry and cared.

The rental desk was easy to find at Harrisburg airport in Middletown PA. I wish the clerk could have advised me more carefully as to the size if the car. While I managed- it was hard to get in and out because it sat so high off the ground.Thankfully the staff was good with email as I asked later as to the procedure for returns.

Worst experience I've ever had with a rental car service in my life! I am still here waiting for them to find the vehicle for me even though I have a receipt and confirmation that has been paid for for months now but they neglected to let me know before I got here that they didn't have any available vehicles in the realm of what I requested! Or even giving me an option of taking the vehicle that is supposed to be here at 5:00 and mind you it is 5:38 p.m. right now so that doesn't even leave a window for them to check anything to make sure the vehicle was returned properly. Alamo if you are reading this I really hope I get a phone call asap because my kids Disney trip depends on it. ?

From pick up to drop off we had a great experience with Alamo MDT location. The vehicle was clean, full tank of gas, and in great working condition. Each employee we encountered was friendly and professional. I appreciate all the hard work that went into making our experience renting a car smooth and easy. No surprises on the final invoice. Thank you to the team at Alamo at MDT!
