Customer service is great, my only complaint is the Happy Hippo Kratom. If the label is a sticker, as opposed to printed on the package, It is never what is claims to be. So if you use happy hippo, be sure its not labeled with the sticker slapped on!! Example of the sticker in photos. It's tastes, looks and acts like red strain. Not green in any way. This is a problem with every smoke shop that sells happy hippo, not just smokers choice.

Really disappointed to see the lack of understanding surrounding kava. this used to be the only place in the area i could come to for kava sodas, or any type of kava that is not a powdered capsule or dodgy extract. They usually have mitra kava sodas, but they recently switched to the regular mitra kratom sodas (which i do like).
Upon entering the other day i asked the sales person if they still had the kava sodas, and the sales person said “yeah the ones we have are even stronger than the ones we had” (didn’t even know the difference between kava and kratom off
hand).
After I inquired further about the kava, the two associates in the store switched the story to, “the sodas have have kava and kratom in them”.
I’ve been drinking mitras for some years now so it sounded kind of iffy for them to say that, because to my knowledge, the mitra kratom sodas don’t have kava in them. Welp… I grabbed one of those sodas, turned the can right around, and proceeded to educate the sales person the way their employer should have. I showed them that the soda indeed contains no kava.
Turns out the only thing in the store with kava in it was a bottle of kava and kratom extract mixed together. Kava is an ancient medicine with muscle relaxing and calming properties, that unlike kratom, has essentially no addiction potential. The fact that the only product in the store with kava in it contains Kratom is is borderline unethical.
I did get a few mitra sodas because i appreciate SC even having them, and I am a responsible kratom user who can handle it, but honestly it felt more like the sales person was more interested in turning my sale and getting me to the register than actually helping me find what I wanted.
I’m a softy for working people and businesses like this, but this excluded me as a customer. It is disappointing to see the more addiction prone option always favored. I’m totally down to change this review if I am heard, because I am not just out to bad mouth this business, rather to expresss my frustration.

Horrible place to shop they sell broken bongs expensive as hell and if you have the receipt it’s in mint condition not used and he couldn’t give a refund or do a trade in nothing it’s only been 8 days since purchase

Very kind and informative staff. Absolutely crush New York prices. Company requires ID scan for sale, which is only downer, but I can understand nervousness. Tobacco is the life blood of Matamoras, and they can't afford to take chances, so take it in stride.The smoker in my family likes Newport, but they have an acceptable brand for under $70/carton. At a carton a week, that's a savings of almost $4,000/yr. For an hour of my time every couple of weeks, I can live with that.

Always a pleasant experience when shopping here.The staff is always very polite.The store is always clean and well stocked.I have yet to go here and they are out of what I'm looking for.The cigar collection is okay , accessories yep they've got it all.Prices are very good , state minimums , and if you sign up for the rewards program you'll get discounts as well as emailed coupons which is awesome.
