The produce department in this store has gone downhill over the years. Most times when I’m shopping here there are empty spaces for common foods like broccoli, green beans, etc. They never seem to have the right staffing to keep the produce properly stocked and fresh.
Also, three separate times I have returned strawberries which have been found to be moldy within 12 hours of purchasing. I have never had that experience at other grocery stores. I spoke with the Wegmans’s produce manager about it the other day and she said to always take the berries from the refrigerated section to ensure freshness. I told her that they should not be stocking them in the unrefrigerated section if they know they will get moldy within hours.

When eating the slaw from this store, I found a big piece of red pepper with barcode sticker still on it. So disgusting! Can’t imagine how clean they washed the veggies before turning them into salad.

One of the nice things about shopping at Wegmans was the ability to get coffee or a specialty drink before you headed in to shop. They have replaced the coffee bar with vending machines. There are no dairy free options. The regular barista is gone. Given the number of self checkout lanes they have added, they are clearly decreasing expenses by cutting staff. And it’s not like they are lowering any of their prices. Might be time to switch to the farmers market.

An extremely clean and well stocked store. This was my first Wegman’s experience as we do not have them where I live, but I was thoroughly impressed with all of the options that they have within the store.
The store was thoroughly stocked and extremely well organized. The staff were super friendly and very welcoming.

Store is always clean with large selection of items including imported meats & cheese, fruits, veggies and all traditional grocery items. The also offer beer and wine

Going to Wegmans used to be a great experience. It is not the same anymore. All of them have changed, but the Malvern one is the worst by far. If you want to go to Wegmans, go to Collegeville instead. The people are much friendlier and more helpful.
