On any given Saturday in Lancaster you can find chicken and rib bbq literally every where you look. One of our favorites is the chicken bbq dinners at Kings Kountry store. The store is a family run business and the bbq is no different. Half chicken, Cole slaw, baked potato and roll for around $12. There’s tables to sit and eat there or take it for the road. The food is good, but it’s also nice to support local family businesses. The big chain restaurants can survive without your money!

Stopped out for their Saturday chicken bbq, everything was great. When we arrived we could smell the bbq in the air and it was everything we expected. The country store was also so authentic to the Lancaster Amish community with a huge variety. We will definitely be back.
