Giving this place a 1 star. I called prior to going to the store asking to have something printed and the manager told me yes I could use their express print. When I arrived I asked another employee about printing something and he told me the lady who works in that area was not there yet. Mind you the store opened at 9:00am and fifteen minutes had passed. I found the manager and asked her if she is who I spoke to and mentioned what I needed help with. She told me the lady is running late so I waited until 9:40am and the woman never arrived. I was surprised the manager did not know how to do this task or seem to be bothered that her employee was extremely late. Another customer shared with me he came in three times in the past few days and the lady was never there to help. This is extremely poor customer service!

Had a very poor experience with an employee at this location early this morning, December 26th. I walked up to the print services desk and asked about shipping a package. The man behind the desk grabbed my package, and without taking his eyes off of me he proceeded to extend his arm out straight and dropped my package from shoulder height into the USPS bin sitting on the floor. Note this package included an expensive smart watch.I then asked for a receipt to which he said they did not print receipts for USPS packages. Another younger, much nicer gentleman came in and defended me, stating they do print receipts and he'd be happy to do it for me.Not sure if the first employee was just having a bad day or what but i will certainly be avoiding this store going forward.

Called in for a toner I needed to pick up for work. Sara(h) answered the phone and was very helpful. Bright and bubbley, and quick to check if the product I needed was in stock. Excellent experience just because of this employee.

I am thrilled with the print shop section, the gentleman who is usually there (I am terrible with names!!) is super accommodating, friendly, genuinely wants to help his customers!! 5 star service all the way!!!!

The store is nice, and the staff are friendly. What I don't like is the extreme price gouging on some of the necessities like charging cables and such. Do yourself a favor if you need cables of any kind, and are able to wait a few days for them but them online. The chairs here are decently priced along with some items you wouldn't think of. Just price check some of the items before purchasing.

Continually disappointed when I visit this Staples. Today was no different. I was looking for a chair mat, there were none on the rack so I checked their website and it said there was 31 in stock. I went to fetch an associate for some help. This associate, Sarah, proceeded to tell me that there was 31 in stock but that she would have to order me one. I requested that she check in the back seeing as both the store system and website say they some. She refused and stated that she doesn’t need to go look because they would be on the rack. The rack isn’t even big enough to hold 31 mats. I again requested that she just check, she again refused and I started to ask another question when she abruptly walked away to talk to a friend that walked into the store. The leadership of this store needs to do a better job of training it’s staff.

Lori from Tech services was a bit rude when I stopped to ask her a question this morn. I am a District Manager in retail and thought she could have been a little nicer and more helpful. In return I returned my item and decided to go elsewhere.

Tried to buy a laptop for my mother. They had one on sale that was a good computer, but didn't have it in stock. They told us to order it online and it would ship to the store. Okay, no problem, except it was $50 more online. My mom stopped at the Reading store and the laptop was $10 cheaper there, but they didn't have it either. Of course they tried to sell her the more expensive one that they conviently had in stock.I don't know why prices are so different, but it feels like false advertising since we could not get that laptop at the advertised price no matter what. Instead, we bought directly from Dell and got a better computer for the price. Never again will I recommend checking Staples for a computer. I don't know why they even display them anymore--they never have the good ones in stock.
