I stayed at the mission when I moved from the state of Delaware almost two years ago. They got me back on my feet and closer to Christ. When I moved back to pa from Delaware I had to stay in a shelter till I got back on my feet. They were very welcoming to me helped me in everyway possible and I made a few friends there. I basically stayed to myself and focused on the important things. I wanna thank the staff member Joe for helping with my schooling he got in to pastry arts school now I just graduated this 2024 with a diploma thanks joe

Very sad place, have no clue how to deal w individuals, just w the bitten crowd that obeys.Didn’t like anything about this place, and I’m so grateful for them not accepting me. The smell there - made me wanna run away and throw up ?I know it’s coming from good ? intentions, but it’s true , that’s it always highway ?️ to hell!

Awesome place. This organization really assist people who are homeless. You will be served three meals a day Monday thru Friday. I would highly recommend this program.

They help people but also have evil people working there...told staff didn't want my family member to see me when I visited because of conflict they purposely allowed anyway and failed to protect relative when there. They are responsible and will be found out.

Thought this place would be alright to I got my feet back on the ground. Boy did I learn a lesson. Can't be who you are. It seems now if you are a resident there, you're much better than the others coming in. The things you witness there. Had to get up and leave!! Didn't know you couldn't take a pastry out with you after breakfast. Kinda got scolded in front of others, I'm Diabetic and have to check my sugar level. A piece of sweetened bread. Wow what's going on with this world we're living in. Everything in this city is corrupted with the money and donations coming to their aid. And they say Las Vegas is Sin City.

I'm sitting here reading everyone's comments about the water street mission. And how wonderful they are. I've been calling at least 3 times a week. Explain to my daughter's situation. I'm always referred to a table currently tenfold a joke she's told too many children call 211

You can gradually see this once strong Christian service ministry going down a bad path. Too many “woke” staff now, people who appear to be very worldly and immature Christian Believers. Some don’t appear to even be true Believers. There are too many in leadership who lack deeper grace and Godly integrity.Some very valuable and good hearted Believers have been let go unceremoniously and unethically, and without grace. The leadership at WSM is lacking deeper integrity and commitment to Christ. Not the ministry it once was, that is for sure.
