I would like to leave a review, looked like a great store, but despite stating open at 11, by 1115, still closed. The worker inside could not bother to let me know if they will open at any time, despite seeing me try the door twice. So at 11:20, I left without buying the gifts I was looking forward to getting for my three kids November 13 2023

Absolute amazing experience! We came into Jim Thorpe on this lovely Saturday and headed up the Main Street. I was greeted as I walked in by two kind-hearted workers, who were extremely kind to myself as well as my wife during our time in the store. These two young men were great! Traversing through the store, I was taken down memory lane! Toys galore! Home items galore! I loved every second of it. Now, I am writing this review as I sit down and eat at the Marion Fire Company. To anyone coming into Jim Thorpe, this store is an essential. Thank you to the two kind young men and the trip down memory lane!

This is a cute kitschy store with a bunch of old time chotchkies. We didn't buy anything, but we had a good time perusing the aisles and laughing at the silly things that were for sale here. The prices were cheap, but so was the quality of stuff. It reminded me of a beach store on the boardwalk. If you have little kids, this would be the place to pick them up a little gift to remember their trip to Jim Thorpe.

This store can be a little deceiving because at first glance, you might think it is a store to pickup toothpaste, but it is so much more. They have the cutest home decor in the middle to back of the store and really nice and reasonably priced seasonal items too! One of my favorite stops in Jim Thorpe!

Unique spacious variety store with Jim Thorpe memorabilia , gag gifts, novelty items , lawn ornaments, toys, board games, holiday decorations, and random treasures. This is where i go when im in the market for a greeting card, a boxing nun doll, a Ouijia board , and some Pennsylvania Dutch candy. This is a one stop shop for an eclectic variety of goods.The Ouijia board worked and i contacted an ACTUAL SPIRIT FROM BEYOND OUR WORLD. The problem though was that the ghost had a bad stuttering problem so the Ouijia needle just hung out on the letter "S" . I was trying to say hello to Asa Packer , a historical figure of old Jim Thorpe.Anyway , Jim Thorpe is a quaint cool town with a thriving tourism scene in an interesting shopping district nestled in the scenic blue mountains. If youre out this way , i highly recommend the Mauch Chunk 5 & 10. It's been a retail variety store for a 100 years and is rumored to be haunted with the friendly ghost of Asa Packer , local philanthropist and famed Yeti trapper . For more information contact Asa Packer yourself with a Mauch Chunk 5 & 10 Oijia board. He's a chatty old soul.This is a cool store and with great friendly service .
