Infinite stars to Melissa and Sok if that were an option! I had a relative's over 100-year-old newspaper auction notice that, at some point, hung outside on a barn in rural MD. The 2'4'-ish notice was folded into size 5x8 and clearly deteriorating. While I forgot to take a picture before, the after is truly impressive. Melissa carefully steamed/ironed our family keepsake and placed it on an acid-free board to prevent further deterioration. The museum glass and her suggestion to reverse mat made the piece pop even more. I cannot say enough about Sok & Melissa's kindness and expertise - they are outstanding and unparalleled. And if you can't find a frame from the thousands (literally) available in their shop, then something is clearly wrong with you. We've found our lifetime framers and will be back - Thanks Melissa & Sok!

Beautiful frames. Detailed work. Excellent quality materials. The framers here do exceptional work and give wonderful suggestions to help you find the perfect frame. My boyfriend and I got one of his diplomas reframed here when it broke. They did such an excellent job and made it look so much better than the original generic commercial frame it came in. We went back to frame two more diplomas, both which turned out amazing. We will definitely be back!

I have had several original watercolor paintings and an oil painting framed here over the past year. It is a great business not only because of their great selection of frames but even more so because of their artistic expertise, high quality craftsmanship, patience and superb attention to customers. The Art of Framing provides excellent custom framing, and has genuinely nice owners too.

I’ve known Sok and Melissa for years. They do the most extraordinary work I’ve ever seen. They are the sweetest and kindest people you ever want to meet. They are so patient when you don’t have a clue as to what you want. They stick with you and guide you into what’s best as far as art work is concerned. They help match your personality with the art. From choosing the piece to the boarder and framing. What you get at the end of the day is perfection.

A wonderful experience from the first phone call to the finished product. I was tasked with getting something framed, and I know absolutely nothing about framing; at all, whatsoever. I was intimidated. However, they were so patient with me, and I was never made to feel uncomfortable. The price was great, the work was spectacular! I rarely give 5 stars. When we recently acquired an oil pastel piece we decided to not only have it but a giclée we've had in storage framed. We've had a bunch of art framed in Northern California but never here. They were amazing. Their combination of an artist's' perspective and understanding the importance of the tones in framing and matting made the artwork, even more so, original. Super nice and accommodating. Experts in their craft. We highly recommend.
