“The best card store in Delaware County and the surrounding area by far. It’s not even close. Don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself and I’m sure you will agree. If you have a youngster that’s into cards be sure to bring them in on a kids trading day.”
“This store is amazing for the items in stock and the good prices. There is a huge selection of anything that you can think of for any scale model trains. They have a large helpful staff who are willing to help you find any particular item and good advice and tips for the hobby.”
“Went in today just to explore and look around. Was welcomed and greeted by a nice and friendly staff. Walked out leaving with some great coins at a fair price. Great first visit to this store. Definitely will be stopping by more often!”
“been going here quite a lot over the years, has a great community and staff, the prices are a bit high for miniatures but that's to be expected. i do wish they had a better paint selection and slightly lower prices. beyond that the place is great.”
“Tony was the third stop our family made in its efforts to sell my father's coin collection. He gave us respect and courtesy, as well as a fair price. Highly recommend this business. Should have gone to him in the first place.”
“Smaller shop with some wall books and back issues for collectors - or just to fill out your reader books. Friendly and knowledgeable owner willing to answer questions. Good Sunday hours when most other comic shops are closed.”
“I cannot say enough good things about George or my experience at Pennies, Pounds and Pesos. If you have coins, do not trade them in at a metal dealer, jewelry store, or a "we buy silver and gold" place. George will be honest with you, and if the coins are worth more as coins rather than melted down, he will give you a fair price. If they are simply worth the melt down cost, he'll give you a fair price for that too. And if they happen to simply be worth face value, he'll even take them in rather than you having to go to the bank to deposit them.I have been selling a lot of things at a lot of different places lately, and George is honestly the only one that I actually felt I could trust.”
“My family and I stopped by while walking through Center City. Brian O. was very helpful. He took lots of time to answer our questions and show us some coins. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Stack's Bowers if you are a numismatist in the Philly area.”
“Ken is a knowledgeable and honest person.I had an appraisal there and by mistake left some coins. He called me back to come and get it. That should explain why I would strongly recommend him.”
“What I love about Showcase Comics is that everything is available for reasonable prices. Staff is always ready to help new customers navigate to what they want and need.”
“Friendly and helpful workers. Well stocked, however, July is way to early to be putting out Halloween decorations! Three months before a holiday? Come on, this is ridiculous! Life goes fast enough so stop pushing it!”
“I just want to say I had a very pleasant experience at the Media, PA, store. I am always satisfied with my purchases, but what made this last trip special was the kind and sweet sales associate that helped me maneuver through self-serve; between coupons and promotions, I couldn't get it to accept the transaction.
Toby, the sweetest and friendliest cashier, led me through the process with her knowledge and nice demeanor; even her nice manager praised Toby as invaluable.
Thank you, Michaels, and a big thank you to Toby. She is an asset to your corporation.”
“Great place for miniatures for your D&D type game. The owner will paint them for you if you want as well. He has some talent. I normally don't consider miniatures, but one really "called out to me" that looked like my D&D character "Donnie Darko" after playing with it with D&D there ages ago. I ended up not getting it unfortunately because I would've had to buy 4 miniatures because they came in a series pack, and I didn't want the other three. So, I just stuck with buying snacks there. But it is a great place to look for well crafted figurines and such.”
“First visit today. Much more reasonable prices on retail than others and frankly, with some products retail is the way.Awesome store. Jerseys, balls, punks, autos, cards. Feel like a kid. Both gentlemen were very helpful and nice. No insecure owner vibe. Just watching 7the Phils.”
“I love Michael's because of the great deals and products they carry. However I like this location because of the people that work here and the convenience of the area. The workers in here are friendly and quite knowledgeable about where things are located in the store and on certain topics too. That's a big thing for me! If you do crafting or like to make things once in a while this is one of the best places to go outside of a hobby shop!”

57 E City Ave, Bala Cynwyd“Horrible. I really hate this store. There are NEVER enough cashiers working. It takes another cashier almost 15 minutes to come assist ,meanwhile the line is getting longer and longer. I will never return to the one on City Ave.”
“I love love love this store. Always a great experience. I just can’t get enough. I taught mother how to take selfies in the floral department for the challenge. We love you Michaels. Linktr.ee/iamamedium”
“I play Yugioh here every week and the staff have always been nicest people. I don't know what's wrong with these people review bombing. If you got a bad ruling or something talk it out bro prove your point”
