I went to get an appraisal and he was rude and arrogant to me. He would only give me one if I sold to him. And he was intimidated when he realized I knew and understood the pricing of gold. I have a place that pays me more than double what he would. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even my worst enemy.

Bought a beautiful ring at Gem jewelers and decided it did not have enough bling. I came back to store 2 days later and asked to exchange it up. Joel and Kim found a beautiful ring in the case. Joel was able to have the stone from the ring I bought put in the new setting they helped me pick. It was a no hassle exchange up. I love my new ring. They were very fair and nice to work with. I have been coming to the shop for years, They always check my rings and do repairs as necessary. When I pick my clean repaired rings up I am always satisfiedThank youKaren Myers

So I go in after work and the lady behind the counter was rushy and making snard remarks. I needed my Invicta repaired, a pin broke, and I see that they do Invicta repairs. I thinking I'm about to get a new pin. Here, Joel the "repair" man used the same pin and simply hammered it over. Left sharp edges and it snags my sleeves. Don't go to this shop for repairs unless you want to get OVER CHARGED for a DIY fix at home.

Quick, professional in house repair over the holidays.Brought in a ring missing it’s central gem stone. Not fancy but was a gift to my wife from her late grandmother. They found a replacement gem, repaired and polished the ring, had it boxed up and ready in approximately 6 business days at a very fair price and during the mid-December Christmas rush.I have recommended them to some friends already looking for similar services.

My fiance bought a beautiful vintage engagement ring from them about 6 years ago. I had a prong loose recently as well as a small spot in the setting that needed soldering took it back for repair, called and said my ring was ready, when I went to pick it up the band was bent and the "repair" looked worse than when I dropped it off. They then proceeded to ask me how "attached" I was to the ring....

My fiance purchased my ring from here about 6 years ago, around 8 months ago I took it in because a prong was loose on the main diamond and the setting on one of the side baguettes needed a spot of solder. This was the "repair" I got back. My ring was worse than before I took it there, claimed when they went to do the repair the ring exploded.... I said something when I went to pick it up that it was rough on the side where the repair was done and they buffed it out, took it back a couple days later because I had more time to notice all the issues in the band. This time the jeweler asked me how "attached" I was to the ring.... it's my engagement ring so yeah kinda attached, then proceeded to tell me how they could make a new ring out of parts of this ring for 1200.00 WTF no thanks now I have a damaged engagement ring.

I have long wanted to visit Gem jewelers after a friend raved about this business. I finally stopped procrastinating after I had a serious medical issue and was advised to get a medical bracelet with my condition on it in case I was ever unable to verbalize my issue myself. I ordered an inexpensive medical ID bracelet online and received it soon after. I was disappointed that I had difficulty fastening it. I thought now's the time to stop by Gem. Perhaps they could put on a different clasp or do something to make my life easier. When I walked in I was cheerfully greeted by the woman behind the counter even though I was interrupting her lunch break. I explained my dilemma and she immediately assured me that they could help. And, help she did! She fitted the bracelet with a new clasp loop and now it fits perfectly and I am now able to take it off and put it back on with ease. Hallelujah! I am so pleased with the kindness, expertise and helpfulness I received from Gem jewelers and their very capable staff. I highly recommend this business to anyone who needs a good jewelers and will definitely refer all of my friends to them. Did I mention that they didn't charge me for this service? I was gobsmacked! Will be going back again!

Words can't possibly convey how appreciative I am to Joel Zucker at The Gem Jewelry!! I inherited a vintage diamond ring that belonged to my Great, Great Aunt & it was lovely, but I needed to get it sized so I walked in, met Joel & showed him the ring. His reaction was amazing while he took a look at it. He used words like stunning, exquisite, gorgeous. He recommended sizing it & tip work then assured me that I would be blown away when I got it back. He wasn't exaggerating at all. I just picked it up & I was brought to tears as I looked at it! The work that Joel did was beyond brilliant & I can't stop staring at it on my finger!! Thank you Joel!!!

I was in today, July 8, 2023, for the very first time. I had gold jewelry with me that I was looking to have verified as to the K value. The owner? came to where I had had my pieces displayed, grabbed what i believe he thought may have been pure gold, took them to a table to be tested, then came back and offered me $100 plus dollars. When I arrived home, I laid the jewelry out on my counter that he had tested and I realized that I was missing a pair of gold earring as well as the pair to another pair of gold earrings. I was so upset. I called the state police and I am hoping that they will investigate as I believe that they stole from me. Please....do not EVER go there. They are thieves.
