I kept going back for the bakery. The donuts are the best in Central PA. I would also pick up a few items. I love how they employ young people with special needs. I asked one where I could find something. Before he could answer, another employee with pink hair just suddenly appeared like a fairy and asked me to repeat my question. I did and the first employee matter of factly told me the correct aisle despite his disability. It was a magical moment. Next time I am in Central PA, I will go back for donuts +.

Great place to shop, but why must I park my bike or walk into the store past the “second hand smoke” fog of the Karns “Cancer Stick” Smokers? Karns, kindly relocate the smokers out back, away from YOUR customers, their young children and away from the bike rack!

I only now visit when I am in the area, after having moved away but I love that when I come in everything is still where it should be. I love the old school feel and the fact that I still know where my favorite and imported items can be found makes me very happy!!

I admit said not previously being a fan of here due to the fact that the prices don't seem much cheaper than giant or wise. However the Cucumbers they have available definitely changed my mind you get five gigantic cucumbers for $3 this is cheaper than anywhere else and they are much better quality their produce looks fresh and I think it may be worth the extra charge to get the quality. I would not do all my shopping here as I'm not a big meat person but if I were they definitely have some really good meat specials for families

What kind of grocery store doesn't have gluten-free bread? Also, Every gluten-free product they have is scattered amongst all of the other products. So good luck finding anything. All the staff still think everything is in aisle six. Its not.

Hit and miss at times. Have had to take back "bad bacon", sticky meat ham sub ,and take a chance bulk chicken wings and leg quarters. Lots of bruises and feathers on chicken wings, various broken legs in leg quarters pre packed 10lb bags. Some prices are very high, some bargains at times. Nice bakery and pleasant surroundings.

I love shopping at karns .they have quality foods and the meat counter is my favorite part of the store . The only thing I say is best grocery store around . Its alittle to cold in there though. But I know that and it's my fault because I forget my sweat shirt everytime lol

Beautiful selection and price of plants outside now. Potted and bedding plants, flowers, hanging baskets and vegetables/herbs. Nice, clean, organized store, good specials, homemade bakery goods. Recommend and will return. Thank you

I never shop there but i need it some english muffin and didnt feel like driving to Costco so i went to K. The place really smells bad ..u walked into the store and bad smells hit you .. on top of the meat and seafood looks so bad and old .. I paid 5.29 for 6 English muffin when u can get a dozen for 4.98 at coscto..that was my first on only time I would go there ..I always hear people talking about the meat there .wow

Service is always great, friendly staff. Great weekly sales and lots of hard to find items. Store and parking lot are kept clean. You get money off future shopping bills by using your Karns card, no card necessary just plug in your phone # associated with your card!

They have quite a selection out front of the store of veggies, herbs and flowers Galore. Impatiens, coleus, Daisies, Celosia, marigolds, all different kinds of gorgeous smelly geraniums, hanging baskets, ferns, nice fair prices, four-pack of bedding flowers is 3 for $5. Powerade was on 10 for $10 and coconut topped cookies were good. 2 lb Raw farm raised shrimp for $10. No cashiers after 930, appeared to be only 2 employees in the store. I saw a lot of baked they'll probably be throwing out tomorrow, so sad how high prices had to go to pay that big minimum wage, and there's no one there earning it. I'll be sure to go back there and recommend this place for their specials and flowers.
