They need to improve with the walking people, they told me to be there before 8:30 am to apply for a voucher and send me back for an othe day like 6 times and end up not being able to apply for the help, the lady up front lies when she tells you to come a specific day and time, when you show up at the time and date she tells you and wait a long time, they attend the people ylshe wants and then tell you she never told you to come, she likes to argue even though she knows she's lying to you.

Staff ask you to jump through hopes and when I told them I was able to find a place but behind in rent they wanted more stuff. They hung up on me several times for questioning there website and qualifications. Even though I met them and since I moved in they refuse to help me. Told me they don't help with sub housing. I have a private landlord. They're just a trashy place which should be ashamed of themselves. Really professional hanging up on potential clients. And when I call back continue to hang up on me as soon as they pick up. Leah Payne you need to step up and correct your staff. Training should be provided for people who don't know how to handle clients who are upset or attempting to understand.
Anisha Newton you are one of the most effluvia person to speak with. You spoke down to me as though you are a granddor person. You guys really need to step up and help the community rather than lining your own pockets ?

Receptionist lady literally didn’t let me finish my sentence, told me there was no more shelters available then hung up on me… didn’t like her tone, she was very unhelpful and couldn’t even give me other resources or options.. absolutely disgusting!! don’t bother going to them for help..

was told they could help with hotel voucher but when it was time to help leah said she dont do hotel vouchers only if its an extreme situation like if youre literally living on the concrete was in the hospital she made me answer all these questions about how i plan to survive told me to have faith then 3 days later told me there were no shelters available and she cant give me a voucher even after i got a fulltime job she still wouldnt help they need to be reported

Need to call them to get help from anywhere but what are homeless families or people supposed to do when they're not helping or you're getting attitude while already going through a hard time? My wife is pregnant called only have a week to stay at a place the lady said she'll get back never did.. leaving pregnant people homeless with a child is crazy then expecting the homeless rates to go down is even more wild. Do better.. some people are really trying to get out of homelessness and got in a bad situation from condemned homes when it's not our fault.

I have a cousin who is in town bcuz her dghtr is on a life machine at Harrisburg hospital, I took her there so they could give her money for a hotel and food while she was in town, the help office has helped a lot of ppl out, my cousin was very pleased for the help she received

I was cleared for assistance into a rooming house. Given the list of landlords. Pick one looked at the room and today was told not me. Than was told I could reply. I called to reply and was told the rent assistance has ended an don't know when it will start again. I was directed to a full shelter. Karma was present in biblical times as well.

I came to the Hope ministries because I was homeless when I found the place I needed 845 for security they told me that it was to much and to find something cheaper witch left me homeless Jerry was rude about it

I called for help for my children and I. And Jerry immediately brushed me off and sent me to intake. In take then told me they can't help me and they don't know what to tell me . I feel like they only help out their own friends and family.
