The furniture is all high quality and lived up to all our expectations. Shari was so helpful in customizing several pieces so that we got exactly what we wanted. Brandon and Edwin were very courteous and professional and made sure all of our furniture was handled with care from truck to our house and made sure everything was placed where we wanted it and all features were installed properly. “A great place to get very unique, mostly wood furniture. Need a huge beautiful dining table? They gotta em alright. Absolutely beautiful and unique furniture. Kitchen, dining room, living room, outdoors, they got it. A lot of the furniture is clearly hand made and one-off. Many different styles. Friendly staff. But along with all this lovely furniture, comes some higher prices as one might expect when buying high end furniture. You will surely get what you pay for here. Worth the trip and the money.”

“If you're in the Bird in Hand-Intercourse area you have to visit this store. They have Amish furniture on display including tables, cabinets etc. But they also feature table tops made of various domestic hardwoods, such as the hard-to-find chestnut. Most of their wood comes from reclaimed barnwood. An amazing store.”

“20 years ago I bought a beautiful Amish oak kitchen table and chairs plus benches and bar stools from John Horning. I raised my family with these in our kitchen and they looked wonderful, wore like steel and were perfect the entire time. Good friends of ours also purchased at the same time and are still using theirs. We recently completely changed our style and needed to change the look. We sold all of the original pieces to one person retaining more than half the original value. And we returned to John and now his son Andrew for a new table. See pictures. John and Andrew Horning are the BEST furniture makers I know of and their prices beat any I know of.”
“I shopped here a decade ago and the items were so much nicer. They had beautiful Wrought iron pieces outside and most of the furniture and crafts were made in America.Now almost everything was made in China and resin to look like wood.It's unfortunate that the shoppers aren't able to see the beautiful rustic store that it used to be.Did the souvenir shops in town buy most of the same items from China?”

“they had a wide selection of furniture that we were looking for . the lady that rang us up completely messed up the transaction and when trying to correct did it again. we thought it was corrected. we actually had to end up calling the manager the next day to get resolved. he was very helpful.the store had a lot of nice stuff. just make sure it is being rung up properly.”
