The We Buy Any Car online quote was $1,830 for our vehicle which was much higher than other online and local buyer quotes...who asked the condition of our vehicle. (The 8 other quotes ranged from $655 to $285.) So I called We Buy Any Car to ask if I could give them more info on the condition to give us a price that was based on the the actual condition of the vehicle and I was assured that their quote was solid. When we get the in-person valuation from We Buy Any Car, it was around $100. When I questioned this vast reduction, was told the other quotes would match IF they had actually seen my car in person. Eventually settled on $400 payment but didn't leave feeling good about the transaction.
