“This is an extraordinary place! Their hardware is well-made and looks great, and service is even better. The previous owner of our house had taken the bolt out of the rim lock on the front door, and two locksmiths passed on fixing it. When we took the lock off the door and went to Ball and Ball (on the advice of a restoration specialist), it turned out they knew exactly how to fix it which they did very promptly. Every aspect of our interaction with them was pleasant and their interventions effective with reasonable pricing.”

“Was a little nervous heading into Delaware County Supply as a female DIYer and not a contractor. No employees approached me in the store or the yard but I headed to the customer service counter and was pointed in the right direction. One of the lumber yard employees helped me find and price options for my project. Everyone was kind and helpful. I’ve been back a couple times to pick up additional supplies and the staff has even remembered me and asked how everything going. It’s great to have this store as an option other than just the big box stores!”

“Yelp doesn't have an appropriate category for this. Discovered this place this fall while trying to find hardware for exterior doors we were both buying and having custom made. This place is for the serious shopper. You must make an appointment. No photography is allowed (I imagine they don't want window shoppers wasting their time taking pictures of amazing hardware and then trying to find it on Amazon or in a box store like Home Depot - spoiler alert...you won't so don't waste your time or there's). The selection was amazing. Modern to gothic. US to European. Door knobs to knockers and everything in-between. We had recently bought a new home designed to be Tudor but with Golden Girls taste everywhere. We wanted to beef up the historical look of the place and came here and found everything we needed. Their inventory is immense and their knowledge deep. Love this place!”

“This place is great. I admit I often go to Home Depot for plumbing parts because it's closer, but when they don't have what I need, or what they do have is junk, I go to Grove Supply. I'm always surprised that the price is about the same. The parts are always better, and you can often get some advice while you're there. Grove even delivers for a very reasonable price. I wish it was closer to Media, PA.”

The staff is very friendly and assisted me in getting some materials that are needed for the project. They have a wide range of items of wood and the selection is robust and mrt my needs. Overall, it was a quick visit, but I got what I needed.”

“Usually, I can't find anyone to assist me at Home Depot or they just point say, "over there" and continue stocking shelves. Not L'Ron Who works at the Miller Road in Wilmington store. “Heather is the best! Recently wanted to buy a grill for the yard, and thanks to Heather we are enjoying it immensely. Thought I'd have to have it delivered, but she explained I could get a boxed one and assemble at home. “I had to pick up shelf pegs and was near this Home Depot so I stopped in.The customer service rep I encountered was not only helpful but very personable.She initially couldn't find exactly what I needed and when I had first approached her I knew she was busy using her laptop at a nearby desk.She eagerly got up to help me and when she wasn't able to find what I needed she reached out to another associate.She then directed me to the aisle where they could be found. It was a pleasant experience chatting with her. I was able to also find what I needed as a result of her not giving up and handing me off to someone else. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves to be mentioned.Sometimes you come across the nicest souls when you least expect it.The store itself was tidy and seemed to have good energy.
