“**Saving Plenty at Save A Lot in Uniontown**For everyday groceries on a budget, Save A Lot in Uniontown hits the spot. Tucked off Walnut Hill Road, this small store packs a surprising punch when it comes to variety and value. Here's why I'll be back:**Prices that Please:**Save A Lot truly lives up to its name. Prices are consistently lower than big-box grocery chains, making it a haven for budget-conscious shoppers. From pantry staples to fresh produce, you'll find everyday essentials at a fraction of the usual cost. I snagged a pack of ground beef for dinner that was nearly half the price elsewhere.**Variety in Every Nook:**Don't let the compact size fool you. This little store holds a surprisingly diverse selection. You'll find groceries for a quick meal, cleaning supplies for a spotless home, toiletries for self-care, and even hardware for minor repairs. Plus, a decent pharmacy section tackles your health needs. It's like a mini department store for all your basic needs.**Hit-or-Miss Freshies:**While most items were surprisingly fresh, I noticed a few produce sections weren't as stocked or vibrant as on my usual grocery run. It's worth checking dates and picking through for good deals, but you might need to visit another store for consistently prime produce.**Friendly Neighborhood Vibes:**The staff at the Uniontown Save A Lot were friendly and helpful. They pointed me towards sale items and even helped me find a specific spice. It's nice to shop at a store where you feel like more than just a customer.**Overall:**For everyday essentials and budget-friendly finds, Save A Lot in Uniontown is a solid choice. While the occasional produce inconsistency might require a backup store, the friendly service, surprising variety, and unbeatable prices make it a worthy stop for savvy shoppers.**Rating:** 4 out of 5 stars (minor deduction for hit-or-miss produce, but the value and vibe win me over!)Feel free to adjust this review to reflect your own experiences and highlight any specific aspects you found particularly positive or negative. Happy shopping!”
“This was the first time I ever was in here, and I really liked it, hubby and I bought a banana scooter crunch, it was yummy ?? lol. We liked the outside picnic table too.”
“Great Prices on Everyday Essentials we use don't mind Generic Brands if I can save a lot that's the main focus on Groceries as today's Economy is tough for Families to Thrive in...”
“A while ago, I posted a two star review but let me tell you they flipped that store upside down. The only thing is that there are a few items that aren't stocked. I'm assuming it's because whoever does their order misses some stuff but the store is very well organized and the staff there are ALWAYS nice and have a smile on their face. I love going here now.”
“Probably the best grocery store in Fayette County. They have phenomenal meat and seafood departments, and a clean, fresh deli. Decent selection. Prices are pretty much on par with other grocery stores except Wally World. But I’d rather pay a little more and get higher quality meats, cheeses, seafood, etc. Not that prepackaged garbage that’s pumped full of preservatives and God knows what else.”
“Not a reflection of the store but it's nice to know black families here raise their kids to make fun of Transgender women verbally mocking me and my height mama must be proud "get in the car"”
“The amount of sales and options available here are out of this world! I bought a comforter today, along with my weekly groceries, and have no regret!! Thank you to the wonderful owners and the staff always available to help!!!”
“They have all the essentials and more! ! Best of all you can always find a DG LOCALLY, in a random location. However, perfectly placed so that there is alway one only a few miles away from home.”
“My Favorite Grocery in the Area....wish they had self check out...although there are some very polite clerks that do a great job...very clean store .Great selection of Grocery...”
“Love the stuff they have there. A lot of nice things outside for summer. They are so cute and they are like 4 or 5 bucks because they are trying to get rid of summer things.”
“I really was impressed with how polite and helpful Matt was. I could not find raisins he came out from behind the counter and showed me exactly right where they were and got them off the shelf and handed them to me. You all got yourselves a good employee with Matt.”
