“This is truly a one of a kind in Erie. If you ever need a certain type of bolt or especially some kind of fastener for a vehicle (especially older vehicles) than this is my go to place. While I was working in the autobody business for many many years, if I couldn't find a certain unique (Let's say a 1970 Chevy Nova interior door clip) in a hurry, this would be the first place I would go too and they always seemed to have it. I could've easily gotten it through an out of state company but when you need it NOW, you go here. I have sent many customers here to get unique out of date parts and customers would always come back to me with a smile and in amazement. This is a truly special place that's right up there with Kraus Department store. We should be so lucky to have this place right here in Erie.Total respect to the company and it's employees as you helped me get out of a lot of jams. I owe you one!!!5 STAR ESTABLISHMENT!!!”

“Large, spacious parking lot is a bonus for quick stops and loading large merchandise into your vehicle. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. I am greeted with a "Hello" from the front cashier EVERY time I enter. They carry a relatively complete inventory at very competitive prices. This store is basically the same as most hardware stores. HOWEVER, it is the friendly, welcoming, and accommodating staff that makes me drive the extra mile.”
“Valu Home Centers is about as close as you can get to a small business feeling hardware store that still operates as a chain. As opposed to larger stores their customer service is superior. Their selection of goods is less, but of good quality. I have purchased a lot of paint and stain products from them, all good quality. Valu Home Centers prices are reasonable as well. Take a look for yourself and you will find it's worth it.”

“I went in for a mini oxygen and acetylene setup. Brian greeted me from the minute I walked in. He took the time to help me decide the best option for my hvac business. I also had questions on a gas powered welder. Brian was able to answer all my questions and then some. I ended up purchasing the tanks and when I am ready for the welder I will def be back to see Brian. Overall a fantastic experience.”

“As their slogan says, "if we don't have it, you don't need it" so true. Recently went for a floor lamp and left with that along with two table lamps. Highly recommended.”
“Small but has a few speciality items. Kind of expensive but they'll have better products than Walmart. They sell, Milwaukee, DeWalt, craftsman, and a few other decent tool brands. Staff is always been more than helpful. Only 4 because, I'm usually to poor to shop here. $10 for a shut off spigot valve. Really? But it is a good, solid product. Everything I've bought from here has been. They have bricks, stones, fireplace setups. Good little hardware store.”
“I can't believe the world we live in. A simple man like myself wanders in to an establishment looking to fix a simple problem (there's a toilet clog at home, daughter accidentally flushed a croc). I asked the desk man where they kept the bog hammers and he LAUGHED AT ME!! me of all people!? A veteren of sorts!?? Then he ANNOUNCED IT ON THE LOUD SPEAKER FOR EVERYONE! A teenager wearing an offensive shade of green tipped my wheel chair! Cousin Donald was there and he wouldn't make eye contact... a mysterious stranger spit in my face but he was dressed very smartly”

“I will recommend this company all day, every day. When I sent a message (via email) with questions, I expected a delay in response, but the owner texted me immediately with answers. I love that type of customer service, responsive, concise, honest, and just really nice! The hardware was ordered but had to be returned because of a randomly weird door height. The return was seamless, the owner again texted me with a return ticket and lo and behold, I did not have to pay to return the hardware. My order was a standard size width and that may not be the case with a custom order. Overall, this company is a gem and I will definitely be a return customer some day.”
