“As a college student, I am always very apprehensive to take my car in for repairs, but after hearing a sound I could not ignore, I called Rod and I’m glad I did. There is a reason for his outstanding Google reviews! He asked me to come in the next morning and explained what exactly went wrong with the car (bad wheel bearing). He fixed it by that evening along with some recommendations for further repairs. I did not feel hustled or talked down to as he was very personable, funny, and kind throughout the whole process. Price was fair and I was on my way! Very thankful for his kindness on squeezing me into his very busy schedule and it also made me wish that all of my mechanic experiences looked like this one.”
“Eric saved me! I initially went to a different shop and waited eight months for the repairs (parts shortage) Once I got my car back, it was an embarrassingly inadequate repair job. I then took it to Platinum and received an estimate to repair it correctly. Due to Eric refusing to cut corners and actually doing the job correctly to proper specifications the insurance company (Snake Farm) opted to declare the vehicle a total loss. The Insurance company then gave me a low-ball offer as the final payout. Eric advised me to reject their offer. I did and they "looked over my claim and realized they weren't using accurate comps". As a result, I received thousands more, which was an actual accurate value of the vehicle. Eric and his staff will fix your car correctly the first time and his vast knowledge of auto insurance is invaluable. Cant recommend enough!!!!Service: Body & Trim”

“Took my wife's car to Elmer today with no appointment for a broken stud. We had the car back in a few hours for a very reasonable price. On top of that he eliminated a nuisance noise from when I put a receiver on the car. I don't drive the car anymore so I completely forgot about the noise but he went out of his way to take care of it without us even mentioning it. Speaks volumes about his character. He came in with the final price of replacing a transmission on my vehicle below the estimate and even did a few repairs on my window at no extra cost to me. When the first replacement transmission arrived he worked on replacing it and he found out it was defective. He took care of calling and getting another shipped to his garage and replaced it again. He takes pride in his work and takes care of his customers. Vehicle runs smooth and quiet. Would highly recommend Vas Transmissions to anyone!”
