“Big fan of Faherty’s Legend Sweater Shirt for an athletic build so I stopped in at this store at 1600 Walnut St. in Philly to try more on. I was delighted to be immediately welcomed by Kira, who offered me a beverage and gave clever insight on colors and sizes while I was there. She also successfully recommended the Jackson Crew Neck Sweater which I loved and is also now a part of my wardrobe thanks to her. I had a return/re-size issue I wanted to work out in-store, so Kira and Oran helped me out with that as well. Love the brand, and this physical location. “This is probably the best TJ Maxx I have been too. Usually avoid them because they are a mess and crowded. This one is well put together. Like all stores of this type, the selection is hit or miss. One star off for the cashier who seemed like she had no idea what to say to a customer checking out. Not even a simple hi, thanks, goodbye.”

“Went in to return a few items from an online purchase. I told one of the staff members that I was leaving on a trip the next day and needed a few easy to pack items. All of a sudden the entire staff was helping me! They were so nice. Kept bringing things to me in the fitting room. Gave me opinions on what I tried on. It was a breath of fresh air in retail shopping these days. Thank you to all the staff people who helped me.I just returned from my trip and loved everything that i bought! Will definitely go into the store (instead of going online) next time i need something. It was nice to see everything in person and get such service!”

“Our family frequent this store regularly, mainly my husband, and we have never had a bad experience over the span of over 6 years shopping here. Staff is always helpful and pleasant, and one young lady ( I don't know her name) is always helpful with explaining, and physically demonstrating to us baby appliances and gear and how they work every time we ask. More times, I've noticed staff go above and beyond for customers while juggling the register, restocking items, and doing drop-offs.The store is often busy, they deal with all types of personalities, ive seen it with my two eyes and unfortunately, I have witnessed times when some customers have been blatantly rude to staff all while staff remain professional and pleasant. Overall, the environment has always been good from my point of view, and we get great deals. At the end of the day, it's a business establishment, and prices go up and down based on the economy. My main goal is going in and looking for a deal. It's not a social club. If you conduct yourself like a respectible adult, I don't see why anyone would have a negative experience here.”
