“I was very fortunate to have Debbie answer my call today. My son is very sick and a non-patient, but she listened and assisted me by getting me transferred to a 10 star gal Destiny at the Holy Spirit Covid Line who clearly has incredible customer service skills. My son was scheduled for a 9:30 am appointment at the Covid tent and saw a Doctor. As I suspected Strep Throat! Covid test done because of everyone s paranoid about it. You can’t just be sick these days. These ladies clearly care about people and health !!! 10 Stars to them !! Keep in mind I made lots of calls yesterday and no one would see my son without a Covid test first. Grateful to Debbie and Destiny”

“UPMC closed my PCP in East Berlin, so I had to find a new provider. This office is between work and home, so it was convenient. After reading the horrible reviews, I was a little frightened for my first appointment. I was greeted by a very nice woman. I didn’t get her name, but she was recently promoted. I asked about her congrats balloons, so that is how I found out. She welcomed me to the practice. After check in, I pulled out my phone to play a game. My name was called before the game loaded. Ciara (?) took all my vitals, questions & concerns. Rachelle came in a few minutes later. She was wonderful. I could speak openly about my health concerns. She recommended a few options, noted I was overdue for a procedure. I am vitamin D deficient, so I asked for a blood test. At check out, Frannie booked an appointment for my overdue procedure, made sure I had my patient portal and directed me to the lab waiting area. Again, I pulled out my phone & was called before my game loaded. A very sweet woman did my blood draw and I was done. My appointment was at 1:20pm and I was on my way home at 2:00pm. Best experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. I highly recommend this practice & the friendly staff.”

“I can’t say enough good about this practice, and especially Dr. Vyas. I was a patient here quite a few years ago and ended up switching to a practice closer to my house. I recently returned to this practice and saw Dr. Vyas for the first time. He was excellent, listened to my concerns, and came up with a plan. Since my first visit with him, we communicated many times through the portal in the weeks following that appointment. He ordered some lab work and contacted me within a couple hours of the results coming back, with the results. He was prompt in getting me a referral to see a specialist. The nurse I saw was also wonderful, as well as the office staff. Looking forward to continue seeing Dr. Vyas. He has done so much more for me in just one appointment, than my current PCP had done for me in four years.”

“I love the positive environment and atmosphere here. While there is usually a wait—up to 15 minutes just to check in, 30 minutes to get called back, and another 30 minutes to be seen—this is understandable given the current challenges medical facilities face. My visit today started at 8:15 AM and ended at 9:40 AM.

I was pleased to see they are training two new front desk associates, which should hopefully improve wait times. The younger front desk staff were excellent, though there were issues with a young blonde with glasses who was rude to an older man, and an older staff member who was inattentive and distracted. Even the kind young lady who checked me in noticed this.

Despite these concerns, I’m excited about the new staff. The trainees seemed eager and personable. I also appreciate Nicole Cook for her understanding and willingness to work with patients.”
