Guy pulls in the driveway with his stereo blaring while my wife is on the phone with a client. He dropped the packages in my driveway where we park, knowing it was going to rain. (I literally have 3 covered porches). I tried calling the phone number 4 times and the automated system will not let me speak to a representative or select the option to report a delivery issue.

Cordial and friendly staff. Metered parking surrounding the office. Clean and appropriately stocked with envelopes, tape, and pens.

I had a registered letter sent to me that cost my sister $20 to have it sent to me and the mail carrier tore the form off the back and signed it carrier and left it in the box (which should have cost $.59) this is totally the incorrect way to handle a registered letter.

as of Feb 2023 worst post office delivery ever, husband worked there over 20yrs as rural carrier and put up with a lot but did a very complete, good job and his customers counted on him and he respected that...the ones these days just skip boxes or come whenever, no set time to figure to meet mail person anymore..i know its not an easy job, but they should have some pride in their job or get out. i get notification every day from the online USPS what mail can expect and if its junk, i know it won't be delivered, but now its starting to be even first class is not coming as scheduled.. no wonder they get the bad rep. its disgusting being an ex employee.. embarrassing is what it is too for who is entrusted with our mail anymore.

Poor customer service. Purchased a box of theirs with tape that didn’t stick. Instead of helping me problem solve their defective box, they told me to buy more of their tape. Woman behind the desk was snarky about the issue.

I'm a long time fan of the USPS. I've spent time in Post Office lines all around the world as I send packages and letters to friends and family. I've bought stamps, postal money orders, cards, and countless mailing envelopes. I've even had dreams of working for the postal service, because I truly believe that the workers there are some of the unsung hero's of our society. Yes, I agree that the service can be slow (especially this year) and I agree that the cost just keeps rising for those of us who use it on a casual basis instead of via heavily discounted business accounts. Still, the cost and time for me to get something to someone anywhere else in the country is generally more elsewhere, and the USPS continues to improve the logistical puzzle that brings smiles to the faces of those I love. This post office is set in the center of small town life. Park anywhere on the street and you'll have the chance to go directly from a gift store or thrift store to the post office to mail the perfect thing to your Dear Aunt Betty, then stop for a quick lunch before you head back to the car. It is in an older building, one that is instantly recognizable as a post office or other government building. I hope the exterior never gets remade, though the interior could certainly use an upgrade from time to time. The employee I encountered was quite friendly, asking about my day and about the pronunciation of my name and the city on my shipping label. We wished each other a nice day and I immediately filled out the customer service survey, because those really do make a huge difference in the lives of retail workers. I hope he receives praise from all that he helps.

I shipped a 57lb package to a soldier in Germany. For some reason, two other post offices weren’t able to ship the same package for some reason. This post office made it look easy. Thank you

Helpful hint to mitigate readdressing confusion: Make sure to use and disseminate your zip plus four because the mail carrier routes did not change.

Very helpful people that seem to care about packages. The usps office is old and you'll need to parallel park to get in, but the workers are helpful. I had a few times where my package was lost and after contacting usps about the issue, my local post office (here) would call me and help resolve the issue.

Address/street name changes in Danville have made directions in town quite confusing. My phone's GPS rarely takes me to the right street. Through all of this the Post Office has successfully delivered many packages. I ship packages often by mailbox or USPS drop off and have never had a package sit overnight at this location. The team here is really great. Ask for Nat at the front desk if you ever need anything, he is the best and has always helped me with kindness.

Friendly local service. Beautiful post office with some work from the WPA. Sometimes it gets backed up sometimes it is not. Good staff that work to help you out.

Apparently they couldn’t find my front door to deliver a package when there was plenty of people home to receive and they were supposed to put a sticker on saying they can’t deliver but they didn’t even do that I do not recommend this I have been waiting forever and now and extra week come on now.
