I'm a disabled Marine corps combat veteran with flat feet and a fixed income went to get my not even 2 year old car looked at for a check engine light was told it was an aftermarket intake also vehicle has major issues with oil and computer issues already. When I was told there was a fee after being told their wouldn't be because of an aftermarket air intake system they said was the cause of my issues (it's not) I was told to pay almost $90 that I don't have I was almost forced to walk home which is a minimum half hour drive up two mountains when I explained I didn't have money and I am a disabled veteran (with flat feet and service connected disabilities and I even have a handicapped disabled veteran plate) the service manager who is very unprofessional took my keys and paperwork and basically was going to have me walk home without a vehicle I asked for them to work with me and I was told by the service department manager that he personally talked to the owner and the owner said they wouldn't help me so I had to borrow money from someone I already owe money too just to get my vehicle I already paid for with insurance, registration, maintenance, car payment etc. As far as I know I've put the stock factory air intake system back on and the code is still on and the oil level is still low with no leaks. The amount of unprofessionalism and anxiety and trauma this has caused me is beyond what words can say no human being especially a veteran especially especially a 100% permanently and totally disabled veteran shouldn't ever be treated or made to feel this way I won't ever buy another VW again and as far as I'm concerned the manager shouldn't be in that position to treat a customer like that inhuman for a $90 fee is ridiculous says a lot about you as a business in general.

Would not recommend. Got a new key programmed and now my car won't shift. Took them an hour to get my bill too

I had to call TWICE to have the necessary part ordered to take care of a safety recall on my Atlas. During the 2nd phone call I was assured that I would be called to schedule an appointment when the part came in. That did not happen. It took me nearly two months from notification to get this done. Once I finally scheduled the appointment 2 weeks ago after calling a 3rd time, I told the person I scheduled with that my car needed to be done same day. I wanted to confirm this could be done because she was making it sound like I was being squeezed into the schedule and I was leaving to go out of state the following day. She said not a problem. We scheduled a courtesy car, I came in at noon the day before so that if possible they had extra time to work on my car to get it done in time. I confirmed with Collin (who is fantastic by the way) that you closed at 4:30 so that I could have the car back on time. He said not a problem I could even come back by 5:30 to pick up. Not one hint of concern about my car not being done on time in that conversation. The following day, the day of my appointment I received a voicemail at 2pm stating my car was just being brought in. My appointment had been at 8. The caller stated that they would call back at 4 with an update. I received the voicemail at 4 after I was already on my way. I have terrible service at work and did not get it at 2. I did not receive another call around that time with an update. I called and left a voicemail saying I was coming from Washingtonville with my eta and even said the car needed to be done. I arrived at 4:25 to my vehicle not being completed. The message I left was delivered by Bob as I was standing at the counter. I said that it needed to be done today and was told the techs were already gone for the day. My conversation with Mike was less than subpar. Honestly the worst customer service I've ever received and I didn't even raise my voice at him. I calmly explained to him the situation as detailed above and said he can have time to figure it out but I suggest he call a mechanic back in after he eats dinner because I'm not going anywhere til my car was done. He literally said nothing to me. Just walked away and didn't come back at all to communicate to me. I found out through Collin 20+ minutes later that he was working on it with a tech over the phone in the back. Great, awesome. Then when he finished he parked the car out front and walked right past me without a word or even eye contact. Again, I've never seen an adult man act like this. Not even a hey sorry about that we got it done. Nothing. Even if you gotta choke it down and believe in your soul I'm completely wrong you cannot act like that. Also the fact that it took him 25 minutes with a phone call to the tech to complete the job tells me it could have and should have been completed on time. And if not there should have been someone available to work a max of 30 minutes of overtime to get caught up to the schedule, assuming I was the only car that wasn't completed on time that day. I'm sure that's not the case though. A tech easily could have done it faster and I know they finished before the end of the day because I also work in a shop and I know that's how it goes. But at the end of the day the way Mike handled himself is the reason for this review. He did what needed to be done after I spoon fed it to him and that's not the kind of person you should have running your service department. The people he deals with are your future and if he and his team are continuously dropping the ball you will continue to struggle.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They had my VW bug for 3 days. With my permission the one person was to drive it to see if the problem showed up for him. The 3rd day I find out a different guy had driven it out for his lunch break( I didn’t realize my car was the rental car). They found nothing wrong with my car. Still charged me xxx amount of dollars to have other people drive my car around, and to top it off, when I came to get my car, the gas tank was empty!! The gas light was on. I sure didn’t bring it to them that way.
I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone, they need new people and obviously new management!

The whole experience with this 2024 Taos SE and our 2023 Atlas Premium R Line was very nice. Our Atlas is our main car, and the Taos is our runabout camping car. VW is great!

Had my 2024 Jetta in for warranty work and oil change last week. They overfilled the oil, which is actually one of the worst things you can do to an engine. They will only assist me if I drive it to their dealership (ENGINE SHOULD NOT BE USED IN A CONDITION LIKE THAT). Jack Metzer will never be getting my business again.

Service does an amazing job, but wish they had loaners available while work is being performed.

I bought a new VW Atlas from Bob Metzer and I have to say in all honesty it was the most pleasant new car buying experience of my life. He treated me like I was family, thank you Bob you're the best in my book. Highly recommend this dealership.

Poor customer service. Stopped at this location to talk to the parts department about getting a replacement key for my lug nuts. They stated it would be impossible to get a replacement key and that I would need to purchase a new set. Luckily I got a call from the dealership I bought my vehicle from and asked them the same question, they stated it would be a simple process to just provide my VIN and get a replacement key from Volkswagen.

Hands down, the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Bob was amazing to deal with and was so quick to respond to all questions by email or phone (as we are about 45 minutes away). Everyone that we dealt with the day we picked up the car, was so friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking to purchase a new car. You won't find better customer service. Thank You Bob!

Horrible experience. I asked for diagnostics. Only a few things were looked at at my scheduled appointment and when I asked for them to go back and look at the rest of what I asked for, I was told they couldn't tell me when they could get it back in. More than 2 weeks went by and I called multiple times with no answer and no offer for a rental. With waiting for my appointment and then waiting for my diagnostics to be complete, you left me without a vehicle for over a month. Then tried to charge me $80 when I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere. I got that discounted to $38. Basically you charged me for a parking spot and never completed the service I asked for. Highly dissatisfied and will never be returning.

Awesome dealership. After having trying to deal with Allentown, PA., Wilkes Barre Dealership, 1 in CT, and another in NJ. Jack Metzer was far and above the most professional and best one to deal with.
