Everyone was very friendly. Vehicle was great (full sized pick-up). Getting the vehicle and turning it in were very streamlined and quick. There was a glitch with the reservation, but was resolved quickly!

The car was great, but I got a flat tire in a BMW with run-flats. No spare ... ok, so but how does Alamo respond? I sat at Buc-ee's in Kentucky for nearly 7hrs while the "Damage Recovery Unit" of Alamo buggled my 3) attempts to line up a fix/tow. The first rep "set up the recovery incorrectly", said the second person I talked to 4hrs after waiting for a replacement vehicle that never showed up. The third person I talked to sent out a repair truck to replace the flat tire with a spare tire that I DID NOT HAVE ON THE VEHICLE! That's right, they didn't even know the features of the car they rented to me. Nobody I talked to understood what was going on or what to do. They seemed only concerned with clicking their mouse and getting me off the phone. Each call sounded like an off-shore call center. Never again with the Alamo/Enterprise group. Back to Avis or Hertz for me.

I have always rented with the other “ Big Guys”. On a recent but frequent trip to Pittsburgh,I rented with Alamo. Maureen was and has been my rental agent in Pittsburgh 4 times. She is the greatest and epitomizes customer service. Starting with her exceptional service the check in and drop off of the vehicle is easy efficient and fast. Cars are always clean!

Had a wonderful experience renting from this location. The representatives were very kind and professional. The Toyota Hybrid SUV we rented was fantastic on gas and drove very nice. Look forward to using Alamo again!

The operation at the Pittsburgh airport was the best customer service I've ever experienced, both at the desk and at the pickup/return location.

Rented an Altima at the Pgh airport. When we got the car, we saw the right rear tire had a low pressure warning. They filled it up, looked for a screw, nail, didn't see one. During that time, a Carolla showed up. They gave us the choice of keeping the Altima or switching to the Carolla. We stuck with the Altima. Later the next day, the low pressure warning went off again. By the end of the 4 days we had the car, we were having to fill it up in the morning, and at night, so it would be ok the next morning. Quite a bother. When we returned the car, we told them about the tire, and they did note that they'd have to take care of it, and not just let another customer be bothered with it. Plus, they didn't charge us for the car size upgrade we got. So in the end, not happy about the stupid tire, but we managed, and Alamo made it right with us. ???

The whole operation from the Alamo counter to getting into the rental car was fast and efficient. Everyone was friendly, they let us have a choice of which vehicle we wanted to drive.

When I approached the counter Ali Shureer greeted me with a smile and was present (mentally/physically). Always love it when a clerk is NOT on the phone. He understood my decline for all add ons. Professional and courteous. Then when I picked up my vehicle Tayler W. Greeted me with a smile and got me the exact vehicle i wanted. Pulled it up for me so I didn’t have to get it myself. That was a first. And very nice touch! I love Alamo.

By and large, my recent experience with Alamo was pretty good. I needed a vehicle for two weeks, and I only had a day or two to make the reservation. Alamo was one of the lowest-cost options. I went with the plan where the staff pick an available car, rather than selecting the car myself. I had a moment of confusion because Alamo was sharing space with another rental car agency, but the staff on hand were proactive and helped me figure out where to go, and got me into a car in just a couple of minutes.
The car I wound up getting was a Jeep Compass. It was very clean and in good condition, and has great cargo capacity, which I did need to make use of on this trip. On the down side, because of the turbocharged engine, gentle pressure on the accelerator gives you nothing, although the car surges forward after a few seconds or after a firm press on the gas. This could be fun on an open road, but it was nightmarish for start-and-stop driving. As I was driving in Pennsylvania, of course I got caught in a construction-induced traffic jam!
I took the Turnpike for part of my trip through Pennsylvania, but Alamo thankfully has a plan for license-plate tolling, so that was good. I brought the car in with the tank topped off, so no worries about refueling charges. I missed the Alamo return lane on the first pass through the garage, because the sign was kind of easy to miss, but I think that's more on me.
Overall, a good rental experience. I'll be looking at Alamo first the next time I have to rent a car.

The s was by far the smoothest car rental experience ever! We were especially pleased with the service at the Pittsburgh airport!
