“Going through some reorganization so it was difficult to shop. I hadn't been here since I lived nearby, 25 years ago. It was nice to visit again but too many items were not priced, and grab and go items were surprisingly overpriced, considering the economic area and because I live in the 3rd most expensive state in the nation and they were still more than what is for sale in my local markets. I appreciated being able to shop for regional items.”

“I contacted the one in Phoenixville since I intended to get the chicken supper there. I inquired about buying it because they still had one available. I had a conversation with Jeff at the deli. He was very polite and helpful. Both the food and Jeff's service were excellent.”

“Great prices and great quality food! Everything in the store is amazing except I don't care for the Clancy's brand of chips and snacks. They aren't that good but otherwise I've loved everything else. Great produce, milk, eggs, meat, fish, cold cuts, cheese, breakfast foods, and I LOVE the Mama Cozi's frozen pizzas. Also they honey battered chicken breast tenders.... I also appreciate that their healthier and organic food options are so affordable. The store is always clean and the staff helpful and courteous. Definitely give five stars, best grocery store around.”

“We try to support local small businesses as much as possible over the big chain stores because the little guys are who built this country. This is little hidden gem is a great little Mom & Pop grocery store that's been here for a long time. They do their own butchering onsite and stock some of the name brands as well. My Grandfather butchered for them back in the 50s and maybe the 60s. The meat selection here is good and they're not gouging folks like the big chain stores. Check out the deli case too as they have some nice selections and the folks behind the counter always greet you with a smile. We'll come to Freed's as long as they're open.”

“Went there for my first time last year. Tried a few Homemade baked things. Everything was amazing. Their Rolls are the best. Always fresh. I have purchased many different marinated meats and they are so good. The Sausage, that is the best. Get it while you can. The staff is always so nice and will explain everything to you. Thanks for a great experience every time!!!”

“Reasonably priced items. Know what you are going to get here in advance. It usually supplements my larger purchases with other shops like Walmart / Giant. I shop for a family of 6 and try to save money where I can. Competitive on certain items, especially if you're willing to go off brand.Don't forget to bring your bags.Also- no self checkout at this location.”

“Nice store. Well organized and clean. Not too happy with the bakery section though. I wanted rolls for steak sandwiches and they only had prepackaged stuff. It was loaded with high fructose corn syrup, so I won't be shopping for that type of item anytime soon. The seafood selection is pretty small but what they did have was reasonably priced. Not a lot of specialty items but they are hard to find in any store in our local area. They have a very nice meat selection, definitely worth the trip, the checkout is good too. Plenty of help, the staff is very nice.”

“A tale of two supermarkets. The one on Gravel Pike, Schwenksville, is like stepping back into the 1980’s. Narrow little aisles dimly lit and old style refrigerated cases… but well stocked. However, the newer store on Shelly Road in Harleysville is SO much nicer, better lit, wide aisles, even better stocked, plus has a nicely stocked beer & wine section. Great baked goods section. The guy behind the bakery counter is excellent.”

“I added Aldi into my grocery shopping stores, and saved about 100.00. I now go there first, then produce junction, then giant. I'm glad I tried Aldi, especially because of the cost of food now. So I recommend Aldi to people like me who are struggling so hard in this economy mess, and inflation. it's like, ok, I'll pay my rent and pick which other bills I can pay half of, or not at all. But I'll have somewhere to starve to death. But if you can get some money together for food, Go to Aldi especially for milk and eggs. A lot cheaper than anywhere else. That's just an example, a lot of things there are a lot cheaper there as well. Like I said I go there first now for everything I got to get. So God bless Aldi. Helping us all not to not starve to death.”

“Awesome, Aldi’s has become my go-to over other markets in the area. Pricing is better overall. However, the only downside is that they desperately need self check-out or at a very minimum, more than one cashier on at a time. Poor guy seems to get a little stressed because line gets backed up quickly. You really gotta hustle to bag up your groceries!”

“Sooo I've heard about Henning's for a while now and the reason being Mr. Sticky's sticky buns ! My brother heard about them and brought them home and they are .... So good ... top tier. I then learned after I started dating my boyfriend that this is his local grocery store and one thing led to another and I had to try it. I find it very similiar to a Wegman's it has a lot of specialty products and is a little bit higher end than say a Giant. They definitely have unique products and good quality, but because of that some of their prices can be a little on the higher side. They have a great prepared food section and even have an all you can eat buffet. I love their baked goods and they're pretty much littered throughout the entire store. They definitely have some unique items. The staff is super nice, the restrooms were clean. It's definitely a pleasant grocery store. I like that it's not so large it's overwhelming. Now I go there frequently because it's so close to my boyfriends and I really enjoy it ! They do offer good sales and we got some great deals on marked down items too - which I love that they do to try and reduce food waste - yay!”

“I only like to shop for my monthly meats here . I can fill my frezzer for the month for less than 100.00. But the prices for everything else are outrageous ! If you have a emergency it's fine otherwise ...go to giant !!!”

“One of the bigger giants in the area. They carry more of a variety of items unlike the perkasie and harleysville locations. Enjoy the (full) self checkout lanes, makes it easier for when im doing orders for IC etc.”

“Generally good selection, but the service in there is pretty bad so trying to add coupons and items to the cart in your app for deals is a pain. Otherwise great employees great service great shopping”
