“About 40 years ago I remember going there as a 6-7 year old child and there had to be at least a 1/2 dozen or so butchers working in there every time my mother would take me.the convever on the ceiling with the hooks attached to it had sides of pork hanging from it, Everybody working there kept busy processing the pork and the line was usually out the door.Everything was and still is as fresh as you can get. in my 40+ years of life I have Never had Fresher tasting pork anywhere but Hains Pork Shop 40 years later I still go there I'm Never disappointed, That's proly why they've been operating for over 150 years.If you enjoy eating fresh Pork and you haven't been there your missing out on a Land mark Butcher Shop”
“After trying and trying with grocery bought USDA Choice, flat cut brisket, only to be disappointed after hours of smoking,your Prime Point did the trick! This was the best smoked brisket I have made and among the best I've tasted.The cut came beautifully trimmed as well, so the weight you sent was the weight I put in the smoker.Cant wait to try the ribs!Thanks again. “Stopped by Termani's on the way home and happened to see that Lombardi's was still open. Picked up 3lbs of hot sausage and asked if they had a plate of Beef Ribs. They brought out an amazing rack of beef ribs that we smoked today. They were incredible. This is a must go to butcher shop5 Stars!”

“The food is very good especially the Broccoli Salad. The service is top notch. Love the smells of food cooking store is clean. The deli staff are fun watching how they interact. “So the other day, I found myself in a totally innocuous conversation, with just some dude I run into every Sunday, and interact for approx 1.5 mins..conversation was about how difficult it is to find turkey legs and thigh bones this time of year (I know, kinda weird conversation to have, don't judge), other than what you get on a whole turkey, which tend to be on the smaller size, turns out to be the owner of Giunta Butcher shop in Reading Terminal Market, and he has these delivered to my house...just like Oprah kinda used to say " you get to have a turkey roulade, everybody gets to have turkey roulade this year"...these things are massive, and the price, what some people look for in reviews, insanely reasonable, couldn't be more happier!!”

He listened to all my needs and gave me multiple meat options to choose from. In addition, I learned about their 103 year old history of the shop. I took my chances and got Kielbasa, breakfast sausages, and took this regular guy’s recommendation for provolone Italian sausages. I cooked them home, and they tasted like dream! And they have a full set of grocery shelves with condiments, sauces, spices - as well as a big freezer. “Fresh Jewish pickles, Liscio’s rolls, every type of lunch meat I love that they also have sweet cap. I also get their chicken and Delmonico steaks the prices here are so decent and the quality cannot be beat. Westbrook was highly recommended and is now my go to deli and meats. I am also excited to try the prepared food trays. I use to go to colonial as it’s right down the street from me now I come here and go 30 minutes out of the way. It’s totally worth it. Again the quality is unbelievable.”
