One of the best decisions we made when moving was to work with Town & Country Moving & Storage. The team was exceptionally communicative and clear when communicating before the move. The movers were professional and took exceptional care of our furniture and belongings. This is our first move where 100% of our items made it to their new home unharmed! Everything about our recent local move was superb -- from Mike's initial meeting and estimate, to Cynthia's gracious scheduling and wealth of information, to the six "Great Americans" on the move crew. Every one of them thoroughly professional, friendly, efficient and hard working. I recommend Town & Country with no reservation whatsoever. You won't look back.

Very disappointed in this company. After paying them over 29,000.00 for moving out of one home, in storage for 1 1/2 yrs, and moving into another home, we had issues with them over damages. Although we paid for insurance coverage, in the end, they rejected 441.74 of damages (they paid us 752.42 for some damages) plus could not repair all furniture to its prior condition. The items rejected were packed inadequately by their employees. After appealing to their owners, they would not even give us the courtesy of a response. We do not recommend this company.Our response to the owner:Yes, the owner David was reluctantly here three times. The first visit he simply looked at the damage his company caused and did not repair a thing. Then it took him two more visits to attempt to repair the items. Again, the items that were rejected in our claim were items packed by T&C employees and should have been covered by the insurance policy we paid $1,200 for. David stating that the “claim submitted was processed and honored per the selected moving coverage” is pure nonsense. David simply chose to not approve the damaged items T&C neglected to properly pack. Some of the damaged items were in plastic containers. We told the movers they were not packed for a move. They took them and stacked them in a way that completely crushed the containers and the contents inside. T&C suggested it was our fault for the damage their company caused and denied the claim on these items. Other repairs were not satisfactory and again we had to accept T&C’s position on them. Our only choice was to arbitrate in some fashion for the $441.74. We thought a professional moving company that we paid over $29,000 to would stand behind such a minor claim. Since settling in, we continue to discover more damaged and missing items. It’s obvious to us that their storage systems are haphazard at best. Cynthia (office manager) was great to work with. Unlike David the owner, she was responsive and attempted to understand the problem. David's personality and lack of trying to resolve issues is lacking at best. His last visit he didn’t want to discuss the issues and simply handed us an envelope and said it’s our final offer take it or leave it. We strongly urge you to find a different moving and storage company.

Our experience with Town & CountryMoving was very positive. Jeremey & his crew were very professional, helpful & friendly. It rained on our move day & the guys never complained about anything. They worked quickly & got the job done without any issues. They did the job in the allotted time despite the weather challenges. The price was fair & competitive. Our move was local across town & I would recommend Town & Country for sure!

I would definitely recommend Town & Country Moving and Storage to my friends and family. We were relocating from Pennsylvania to South Carolina and also had a load of furniture that needed to be moved to our daughter’s home in Virginia. Mike came out to the house twice to give us a quote and he was great to work with. I also can’t say enough great things about Cynthia who works in the office. She was so helpful and encouraging. The moving team came on time and were so professional. Alan, the team leader was organized and on top of everything. He was also great at the other end of the move unloading the truck and setting up our furniture. Thanks for a great moving experience!! Janet McDowell

Moving with Town & Country was nothing short of excellent! Every part of my move was perfect thanks to the incredible communication and responsiveness of all included. The owner, Mike, took the time to FaceTime and assess my belongings to generate an accurate quote. I would recommend our movers, Ryan and Jeremy, 1000x times over. They took the time to shrink wrap/pad everything and carried out a 1 day, cross-state move from MD to PA seamlessly. Highly recommend Town & Country Moving & Storage!

Everything worked out great. Their prices were very competitive, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and I was very happy with the whole process. They prorate storage so you only pay for the storage you use. Unlike others who charge you for a whole month if you pass the half way mark. I don't see how you can go wrong with booking them.

Town & Country moved us out of our house late last year, stored our furniture etc, for about 9 months,then delivered it to our new house. They were very flexible with scheduling to meet our needs, as of course scheduling events around the building of a new house includes many uncertainties – Cynthia was a real joy to work with and helped a lot. We worked some with each of the two owners as well, and found that both Dave and Mike were actively involved in the business and they were both experienced and capable, and it appeared that both also contribute to the successes of T&C. They sure did an excellent job with our move and we were very pleased. But moving remains no fun!Cannot remember which and maybe all three of them gave us good advice regarding potential damage to any of our belongings, which is that the freight business looks at such goods from a freight perspective - damage is paid based on weight, so we decided to get renters’ insurance just in case. But the guys actually doing the move disassembled almost everything and wrapped each item very carefully to protect it (then of course reassembled it upon delivery). Their crews were very good as well – nice young men who were personable and seemed to have really good character. And fast and strong! Moving is hard work and I don’t know what kind of turnover rate they have, but several of the same guys who moved us out were also there doing the move back in.They told us up front that we would not be able to get any of our items while stored, but we needed storage for a couple of new desks we purchased for the next house. Those were each handled by Cynthia and Dave, one of the owners, for no extra charge as well. We would definitely recommend them again.Gene & Anne McCutchenPottstown, PA

We move a lot, and this was by far the BEST move we've ever had! We were completely satisfied with our move with Town and Country. Mike was professional and honest, and gave us a really fair price which he held to after the move was all wrapped up. Cynthia in the office was incredible in helping me out - she always was friendly and eager to answer every question I had for her. She even stored our plants for us in her office while we drove to our new house. The guys in charge of the move and their staff were courteous, worked well together; not one thing was broken! This is the company to choose for your move - great on all fronts!

My husband and I had such a great experience with Town & Country. From the beginning working with Cynthia and Mike to get set up for the move and then the whole crew was awesome! We were so impressed with how quickly the move went, as well as the professionalism and courteousness from the crew. I was 7 months pregnant and they were all very mindful of that and constantly offering to help me as I was milling around finishing up packing and cleaning. Five out of five stars for Town & Country for our move!
