Very disappointed in the practice my godfather founded. They are refusing to see my 92 year old mother in law because she had COVID 10 days ago. She has tested negative and does not have respiratory symptoms. Their refusal to see her is irrational, not in compliance with CDC guidelines, and an abandonment of their professed medical oath if you ask me. I left this practice a few years ago because of poor communication practices but it’s time for my mother in law to find a new PCP now!

The doctors are great, especially Dr Bero. The admin staff are rude, inconsiderate, and uncaring. In my experience, they did not listen to my words, but made assumptions from what they chose to hear.

Not a good place to work . The RN sue acts like she is everyone’s friend and she will make U feel u r important but she tells every nurse assistant that . Female nurse assistants are very Competitive and jealous of each other

My Mother has been a patient at this practice for at least 20 years. She is 89 years old, currently staying with me in South Carolina and declining rapidly. I called to request an order for hospice evaluation to be faxed to a company in South Carolina and was VERY RUDELY told “she would have to be seen” - my Mom is bedbound and in South Carolina!!!! Really?? What kind of practice is this. No sympathy, no I’m sorry to hear this . . Unbelievable.

As you can see by most of the reviews, this is one of the worst doctors offices you can go to. Doctors are nice but front desk is rude. Whoever is in charge of taking calls for prescriptions should be FIRED ASAP. Not only was she rude to me but also yelled at my GRANDMA. If you need prescriptions filled to survive then going here you might not see another day. Will be switching offices.

If I could rate them a negative 10000 I would. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. DO NOT GO HERE. whoever takes calls for the prescriptions needs to be fired. Rude and does not listen. She yelled at my grandmas for absolutely no reason. The whole front desk should be replaced. Disgrace.

UPDATED ON 2/2/22: I am filing a complaint with the DEPARTMENT OF STATE, PROFESSIONAL COMPLIANCE OFFICE against Masland Associates and one of its physicians. Yes, that's how bad it has become.

I have been a patient with Masland Associates since I was a teenager. Basically, as long as they have been around. I used to love them, but recently I have been disappointed. Just because you aren't feeling well, does not mean you have COVID! I know my body and know what I may have or not have. I've recently had a sinus infection, and instead of treating me, they made me go through COVID testing before they would prescribe meds. By the time the tests came back NEGATIVE, as I knew they would, my sinus infection turned to a sore throat from drainage, worse pain and pressure and a cough. Now they prescribe meds...that did not help! If they would have given me something when I actually started the symptoms, I would probably feel better by now!

Great doctors office. I love my doctor and Masland has been around forever. However, trying to get prescriptions filled is like playing a game of tag or cat and mouse. One month they are early with it at the pharmacy. The next time it would be late afternoon. Never consistent. I go looking for it between 9-12, it’s not there. I forget about it, it’s there 9-12

Very unprofessional office staff. I have no doubt the doctors are great but the individuals that answer calls, particularly Monica, are rude, make snide comments, lecture you, and talk to you as if you are stupid. I had called to make an appointment in January and she was rude to me as soon as the call started. The only time she became nice was when she realized she was on speaker phone and my mom was right next to me. A great medical office includes personable and positive office staff, so with a team of great doctors, I'm not sure why they have such unprofessional receptionists.
