First windshield was installed but was scratched up so they came back out put a second one in and I had wind noise called them was told it was from the install tape but it's pretty sad I have to fill the one side of the trim around the window with form a gasket to fix it myself on a brand new windshieldService: Auto windshield replacement

This Bridgeville business is wonderful. Yesterday a stone on Prestley Rd. flew up, hit my windshield, boom a crack. Because this a local business and close to home I stopped to see how much it would cost me to repair my windshield. Beau said $75. Great, I'll pay for it myself. Ge could fix it right now, it will take about 30 minutes. I was ecstatic. I'll wait and I'm not in a hurry. I went to see the woman at the Front Office (Donna). I told her that I would be paying it myself. She asked me, "Why?" Your insurance will cover that at "0" deductible for a glass chip. I was shocked. Well of course I'll do it thru my insurance. After a brief conference call with the insurance company, Beau walked into the front and he said he was done. He said he thought I'd be pleased with the result. Pleased, I'm thrilled. All it looks like is something smaller than a pinhead and it didn't cost me a dime. Yes, cost is always an issue, but had I not listened to my gut and stopped at Pro Tech, itcwould have cost me +/- $139.99. Yesterday I called Safelite and they are the ones who replaced the windshield a little over a year ago. I told them the situation and asked if it was covered under my warranty, the man told me that stone chips aren't covered and the cost to repair it. I was not pleased and darn sure that I was going to stop at Pro Tech or anyplace other than Safelite to repair something slightly bigger than a dime. THANK YOU DONNA AND BEAU . You are awesome.
