Car came back worse than it did going there. Broken a lot of trim and an additional sensor. They lie about what is broken to charge you more AVOID AT ALL COST!

Took my car for a issue with the ignition and I got it back the trim wasent in all the way, cluster was scratched. Trim around the radio was broken off and won't snap back in, car now beeps non stop about the parking break.dash is gouged from them prying. Cover for the neutral was broken and left on the floor with bits of broken plastic and push pins. These fools charged 400$ for 3 hrs of work and this is what you get!

I’ve had multiple leases with Independence Honda spanning 20yrs but my most recent lease will be my last with them. The dealership integrity has declined greatly these last few years and I can no longer support a business who doesn’t value their customers.
Within days of purchasing my Pilot I discovered an accessory was not functioning properly. The service department reviewed my problem, told me it was a software issue and told me there was nothing they could do until the manufacturer released an update. I made many calls to the salesperson, sales manager and even the manufacturer. No one returned my calls with a solution. It’s been 17mths and still not a single offer to help. Once they had my money and my signature they were done with me.
I highly suggest you avoid this dealership.

They always try to get you to buy tires when they do an inspection. Also putting a mark up based upon how many of that vehicle is in the area is somewhat outrageous. Can drive 30 mins in any direction and get the car cheaper.

I had just ended my third lease (customer for 9 years)… “the market this and that” made it MUCH more expensive to get a new lease on the passport I had so after doing some research we decided we would be okay with a new lease on a CRV (had one before and my wife loved it). Long story short…. they tried talking me into leasing the CRV at the exact same price they wanted to lease the new Passport for (msrp was $4k difference). I am convinced they thought I was out of options and would just decide to go with whatever payment they put in front of me. I was able to secure our ideal color combo (black on black) on the CRV EXL at Faulkner Honda in Harrisburg for $130 a month less. Independence was unwilling to work with me as a customer for 9 years and lost any chance of future business. They are too small (too limited on inventory) to actually work any solid deals with anyone. If you don’t want to travel or do any shopping for a Honda and live local, they are your guys,
otherwise I recommend taking a drive to Harrisburg or Williamsport. Ciocca or Faulkner- great customer service and light years beyond Independence when it comes to inventory and ability to negotiate.

Service department cracked my windshield and lied about it.Yesterday I took my car to this dealership to have a spare key cut and programmed and to get an inspection as I had just purchased the vehicle. When I handed them my keys my windshield didn't have a 7 inch crack running down the passenger side, when they handed my keys back it did. I noticed it immediately it's not a small crack. When I returned minutes later they refused to own up to it. These people have no integrity and I will never give them my business again. I have a bumper to bumper warranty. It's not like I need to scam them they broke my windshield and instead of being honest they decided to do business in the most underhanded way possible
