i would not recommend dave and wayne’s auto center. this garage is the absolute definition of money hungry. i took my car in to get it’s state inspection and emissions testing done earlier this week. they failed me due to a rightful reason, that i am not mad about. HOWEVER, they changed my left marker light AND added oil to my car without calling to ask me if i was okay with it. not only did they do things to my car they also charged me for it. if they simply would have called and asked i would have said yes. but, that was not the case. they offered to fix the issue that caused me to fail but they did not have time that day so i said i would take it to my normal garage, which i should have done in the first place, and see if they could do it. my garage had said that garages are not allowed to fix this issue and it has to go directly to the kia dealer. so, not only did they make corrections to my car without asking, charged me for corrections, and are technically not allowed to fix the issue they failed me for. the only nice thing i have to say is that they were lenient about when i could come back for my inspection sticker since they are closed for a week and then i am gone the following week. will not be returning for said sticker. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Beware: Our tire was loosing air so we took it to Dave and Wayne's for the first time since it was close to us. Well, it will be our last... they charged us $58 to plug the tire!! We've never paid more than $15. Needless to say, we won't be returning, way too expensive!

The best auto mechanic shop in all of Bethlehem. Bill and his crew are very efficient, therefore, there's never a need for them to inflate their service costs. They are all about the customer. I Love Dave & Wayne's!!!

Went to a chain shop who redid my whole front end after an accident. A month later I went back for inspection and they wouldn’t pass me because they claimed my front brakes were “crumbling”. I did not trust the chain shop anymore so I came here after a recommendation and explained my situation. I even told him that I would be OK if I needed new brakes… I just wanted it to be done by somebody I trusted. The shop called me about two hours later and stated that my brakes were fine and that all I needed was a new windshield wiper. They replaced my windshield wiper and passed my inspection. I had my car back in about four hours! Great service and extremely trustworthy! They could have swindled brakes out of me but they did not! They chose to be honest. Plus, they have a really cute dog in the shop!!

I normally do all of my own work to my vehicles but I had a circumstance arise where I had to pass a repair on to another shop for my fiances car. Anyone who works on their own stuff knows that’s a tough pill to swallow and not an easy thing to do. I have to say I have been in the business for a long time and i was very impressed with dave and wayne. Their diagnosis was spot on which impressed me because it was a little tricky. Not only that but the price i felt was very fair and most importantly it was done RIGHT. Those combination of things is hard to come across these days. ill always do my own work if i can but it’s sick to know i have a place i can count on if i need it.

My dad has known the owners for years...probably when they started! They are trustworthy and do excellent work. On a more personal level, my dad, who is quite elderly and had his license revoked needed to part with his El Camino. Dave and Wayne came and towed it from another place to their place, checked it out, told us the repairs would be more than what it was worth, and were so kind to let us keep it there until a church member came to tow it to his house to use as a project car. I was so worried I was inconveniencing them but Ruby assured me it was fine and not to work myself up about it. I can't thank them enough for that kindness!
