“I love Aldi for certain products; yogurt, almond milk, creamer, cheese, bread, cereal and produce. Their European chocolate is outstanding. Sometimes I buy household items. I've bought planters, throw rugs, containers... Just a great store.”

“I frequently went to Heisler’s years ago when my office was on Valleybrook Rd. I stopped in now that I’m back in the area and WOW have they expanded their menu and options!!! It’s wonderful. The soups are sooo good. My favorite is Friday - Wedding Soup with chicken and meatballs. I grab some garlic bread to throw in the air fryer along with some deli items for the weekend and it’s a one stop shop. The produce is great too. Not too ripe. So many delicious options. Hard to decide but my daughter and I love the broccoli salad. The tuna salad makes a great tuna melt. It’s hearty and not too much mayonnaise. Tiny little celery in the tuna salad adds a nice crunch. So many more things to try.”

“Went to this corner market for the first time yesterday in search of a good deli sandwich. Found one! I got a Turkey club on havarti - it was toasted and all the ingredients fresh. The guy at the deli counter was super friendly. While I was there I picked up 2 pre-made dinners (portions were easily for 2) --- pumpkin risotto & pasta bolognese. Each were $13.95 - which seems reasonable to me. My sandwich was $7.99 - pretty cheap. My husband & I didn't feel like cooking last night, so the risotto was quickly employed & it was really tasty! Perfectly cooked. The fresh bread was nearly gone, so I didn't get to grab something for dinner but was super satisfied with my choice. The prices weren't high - they seemed perfectly on par with a corner market where convenience is a premium. My only bad experience was with the fantastically UN-friendly cashier who seemed to go out of her way to be unfriendly & boy was she good at it. Really sad that *that* is what greets you when u go in. I'll definitely be back and am hoping that maybe she was just having a bad day.”

“I’m from Germany and grew up with Aldi. Last year we moved from Northern California (no Aldi!) to Bethe Park (Aldi). I love their prices and am most happy when I can find German products. Moser Roth chocolate is delicious! Their sparkling water is better than LaCroix in my opinion. And their aged Gouda is the real deal. And often I can find good deals on decorations, etc. I’m an Aldi fan :)”

“I love this particular, iteration of the Aldi in the area because it’s close, and has a great selection. There is another one cnearby, but it’s a much smaller store; a much smaller selection. Penn Avenue is kept well stocked and clean, and everyone there seems pretty darn friendly. Recommend.”

“Thanks to Casey for helping me find the beef brisket that was out of stock on the shelf. He went to the back and got more for me. He was very helpful and polite. Great representative for your store.”

“Everything nicely laid out. Different brands. Best price for pumpkins ? No bags . 25cent cart rental with return of cart..funny but no carts running around into cars. Bonuses”

“Great prices and good quality food as well. The checkout process is convoluted and annoying though. They throw all the items in a cart. Even glass items and stuff like bread so they can either break or get smooshed. Also make sure to bring your own bags if you can. If not you can buy some there. Also bring a quarter for the cart.”

“I had a very positive experience (Sept 22 2023). I just happened to have come across the shop while visiting Hillman across the street. It's a small shop, but I was pleased with the selection. I felt like most of the prices were fair for a shop of this size. The cashier lady was super warm and nice, a total opposite of the Korean market in Oakland.”

“I love ALDIs in general.I have to give a shout out to my cashier TaQiyya. The customer in front of me was giving her a hard time about something that had no business being an issue (seriously, it’s free to be kind).TaQiyya handled it so well and the way she reacted made me smile. I hope it didn’t ruin her day (this incident was at 10am, so a relatively start to the day)Please, be kind to service workers. No matter if they are a server, cashier, or people restocking the products you buy. Have some decency.”

“Absolutely amazing manager at this location. We purchased a grill from monroeville they sold my grill and told me to go elsewhere without even an apology so they sent us to west mifflin. Honestly it was a blessing in disguise the amazing team of mangers apologized for a situation they didn’t even cause they fixed our problem with a solution and went above and beyond for my family. She even offered to go to another store to pick us one up. That’s the definition of above and beyond! This is excellent management skills you should be so proud of yourself and your team for an amazing situation! Thank you so much for your kindness”

“I'm convinced that Aldi's has the best prices of any grocery store in Pittsburgh. This certain store in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania has been remodeled and it is very nice. I enjoy shopping there and love their aisle of shame. You never know what you're going to find their that you really didn't need but you can't leave without. There is always ample parking in the very large parking lot. And accessible for the handicapped.”

“Nice store. First time visit. Once I learn where everything is, it will be easier to navigate. This store must be good because I ran into a couple of friends shopping there also.”

“Our go to for bulk shopping needs! Also the gas prices are lower than regular pumps. Bakery, and pre-made foods are always fast and helpful. Can easily freeze leftovers or any meats not used at best prices.”

“I was really sick and Costco pharmacy made it possible for me to get me medication without putting anyone at risk. I'm so grateful! For such a large corporation, they were as responsive as a small mom-n-pop. I also love the healthy options that are more and more available. My Kombucha habit savings cover the membership fee alone. Great kombucha!”

“Interesting market out towards Mt Lebo/south hills. Didn’t walk around too much but it seemed like everything you needed in a grocery store. Had some issue with their self check out counter not accepting my card but I’m sure it was just a fluke”
