I usually have a very good experience at this Acme but today was absolutely terrible. I come to this acne frequently (2-3 times a week) and I always have a positive experience. I arrived today, gathered a few items and proceeded to self check out where I encountered the most rude and nastiest associate (I think her name was Tasha) who accused me of stealing a shopping bag (which I came in with) and instead of her apologizing when she realized SHE WAS WRONG she became even more nasty and ignorant. This visit made me NEVER want to spend ANY MONEY HERE!… I live walking distance from this store but I would rather go elsewhere. If you don’t like your job FIND ANOTHER ONE!

The cleanliness of the store is A1, the shelves are always stocked and the cashiers are friendly.

Acme Markets on City Ave has the essentials covered with a selection of groceries, a bakery, and a deli. The online ordering and pharmacy are convenient, though the store could benefit from a wider variety. It’s a decent stop for Bala Cynwyd locals.

If you are looking for Europian style cake taste , please check this ACME store . Charles and Andrea(Adrian?) are the best . They make the yummiest freshest cakes in the area. Hands down I am the returning customer ! Keep up the good work!

I hate this store with a passion, unfortunately it's the closest so I still occasionally use it. Prices are high but quality is low. They don't have any good whole-wheat bread, or good quality salami, or pancetta that's not pre-sliced To buy a battery you need to wait in a huge (more than 15 minutes!!!!) line at customer service. I wish there was an alternative store close-by. Wegmans would be great.

Don’t order online groceries for delivery. They will leave them all out in the pouring rain and won’t notify you of the delivery.

Love the place just be careful when coming out a today a random man approached me today taking in of my bags out when I told him no and still put it in my trunk. When I said I did not need help he asked for a dollar and still hovered over me. He looked in my car and went over to another man and did the same thing.

Sale signs aren't up
I couldn't find certain items so I go to customer service center. Noone is there. I asked someone and noone showed up for 10 minutes . I left and going to another store
Won't visit this one again.

I normally have great experiences at this store. I spend a lot of money every single week. I encountered an employee at the self checkout who gave me attitude when I asked about how to use the store app because I was confused. She made me feel stupid like I should know what I’m doing and was rude. Also, I caught the one security guard following me the other week. Probably because I wear a bookbag wherever I go.

My mom loves going to this place to get all her juices from so she can evade the sugar tax in Philly. Its a nice small drive out side the "city limits", even though its seconds out but still. I love how they have a large wine and beer selection , not huge but to be just a grocery store I love it. Also, I like how quick it takes me to check out.

I’m the most honest person you’ll ever meet I’m the most respectful person you would ever meet every time I call to speak to Liz people keep hanging up the phone dropping my call Liz know that it’s me calling. Why are you hanging up my call? That’s very disrespectful. I went to our office the other day, and the only position they had was produced but I don’t really have much experience. Willing to give it a try, but I can only work from 7 in the morning till 5 PM Monday through Friday and maybe one day out of the weekend Try to say that to her, she tries to override me and say oh you gotta work From the time it opens to the time and close does illegal no man should be working for the time of store open That’s too many hours especially if I get Social Security check every month I’m not able to work all those hours And I understand maybe she feels like I’m being annoying a little bit, Whatever the case may be, but that doesn’t mean anything I’m still Respectful person and I’m wanted to work the other day when I went to office I told her that I’m not sure on the produce position I wanted to give it a try it’s 2024 I’m trying to work stay outta trouble only reason I’m trying to work cause of Bills ? I live one block away
