For ten years now I've used Jackson Hewitt to do my taxes for me and they have always been very friendly and knowledgeable of every question I have had throughout the years. They have always gotten me the maximum return allowable.

I'm honestly confused. We've been going here the past few years and last year we were told we would have getting a certain amount back and when our taxes came there was a few grand difference. This year we went in for a refund advance, the first lady told us an amount we would be getting back in total and a week or two later when we went in to finish our taxes it was like a 4,000$ difference. It doesn't make sense. They also said we had to get the second refund advance since we got the first after telling her we wanted it all at once and not a second advance. But later that day got a txt with an option to opt out of the advance so that was a lie. I don't think we will be returning next year which is sad bc I was hoping to find a go to place. I've also recommended a few people there last year, definitely won't be recommending this year. It's sketchy there was such a huge difference 2 years in a row.

If I could leave no stars I would! First my bank account information got “lost” so when my husband went in to sign his section of the taxes he had to give them another account to have the return sent to. How you “lose” someone’s bank information that is put into the computer 3 times is beyond me. Then, we were told it was 280.00 to file. I thought that was a pretty steep price already but then as I was looking over our return I saw that we were charged 496.00! 496.00 to have my taxes done! Just simple W2’s and 1 dependent and it cost me 496.00! I only went to Jackson Hewitt because it was the only place that could fit me in around my work schedule and I can promise it will be the last time I ever go there! I wanted to make sure my taxes were done right so I had a professional do them and I definitely feel like I was taken advantage of and ripped off. Absolutely do not recommend!

First time customer with JH. I used to do Turbo Tax myself but wasn’t 100% sure I was taking advantage of all the tax breaks available to me. My tax professional at JH was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I received a larger refund that expected. I’m glad I made the switch and I will be a retuning customer next year. Thx JH!
