My customer experience was full of stress and frustration. First the web site would not receive information I tried to enter. It also did not clearly display a discount for which we were eligible. The staff claimed that cancelling the rental and reinstating it with the discount would cause us to be double charged. This turned out to be untrue when I called the customer service number. The staff members were polite and competent but clearly misleading. I will take my business elsewhere next time I need to rent a car. I recommend Enterprise highly and will use them in the future.

My rating is based solely on my experience. I used a third party site to book a rental however I was not able to get the car due to the fact I was not only using a debit card but I did not book the reservation 24hrs in advance which that was not stated on the website.

I’m in town to settle details for a family member who was put in a long-term care facility. Drove his car to hertz parking lot because I needed a rental for 24 hours. Drove directly into the middle of the parking lot and parked, got the rental quickly, and left. The staff there never informed me that my car would be towed if left there. There are NO signs in the middle of the parking area near Hertz. When I got to the tow lot, they informed me that the Hertz office has cards to distribute to their customers to put on their dashboards so that customers’ cars won’t be towed. It cost me $355 to get it back. If your business is going to be in a place that has towing, you should notify your patrons of that risk. The signs are not visible from your entity and the lack of assistance and empathy from your staff is unacceptable.

Nicky gives poor customer service. Very reluctant to help me get deposit funds released. Had an attitude with me and a bank representative.

Believe these reviews and stay away from this location. I am not from this area. I rented a car from an airport 2 hours away and scheduled a drop off in Allentown. I had an important busy meeting in Allentown 1.5 hours after my drop off. When I arrived, the store was closed, a note on the door, and no one around. The note had a number to call, which would ring with no answer. I needed to leave so I parked the vehicle and took the keys. I was told to mail the keys and I am being charged for every day until the key arrives. The number for this location gives incorrect hours of operation and I was scheduled to drop off my vehicle at the exact minute they closed. Of course, no one called me or waited for my arrival. The minute it was 5pm the doors were locked and all the employees were gone. This was verified by Nikki confirming her employee clocked out at 5pm exactly. I own several customer service based businesses and have never treated a customer this way. I could have received a call from the manager apologizing for this scheduling problem and offering to work towards a solution. Had that have happened, this would be a 5 star review about how I was taken care of. Instead, I received a call about how I’ll be charged over $3500. We will see if Hertz makes this right. I deeply regret giving Hertz in Allentown my business. Update: No resolution. Not even one contact from the manager. After reading these reviews it is clear that unauthorized charges are a tactic here. I will be pursuing this.

I would not recommend. The staff is rude and talked to themselves about what they are doing instead of communicating to me what was going on. They gave my rental away to someone else because I was 20 mins late. They never told me what car I would be getting. They took 30 mins to get our car cleaned. And the vehicle ended up being a downgrade. The inside was filthy, stains everywhere, fingerprints and water marks. It smelled like cigarettes and the outside of the car was filthy. DO NOT GO HERE!

They literally do not care. Everyone has an attitude. They clearly don’t like working at this location. They did not have any of the vehicles that I booked. And they included insurance without my approval! Do not go!

I rent cars often (like 5 times a month) and this is by far the best Hertz location I have dealt with. They are helpful and accommodating. Always pleasant. Recommend.

Been renting for work trips at this location for around 1-2 years now, always nice and accommodating. They always make sure I get my hertz reward points as well, which is awesome.

Trash. Was given an Altima after requesting an SUV. Then the manager was extremely rude it and laughed. She is extremely rude and I honestly don’t know how she was made a manager… unless it’s her first time with a managing position and it went to her head. Then she had the audacity to charge me extra days when I had the car one day. Disgusting behavior. I was nothing but pleasant until she started being rude. The Altima was also a trash fleet trim… and they tried to charge me under full size. Altima is a midsize. Moral of the story trash place.
