Gretchen was super helpful in all aspects of learning to dive. Gretchen helped me get a mask that actually fits my face, get sized for other great, and was a phenomenal instructor in the pool and out in open water. I would highly recommend to any and all!

The staff at the shop was infinitely knowledgeable and very patient with a newbie. Getting into a pool class and all of the followup that requires was nothing less than a smooth and stellar experience. Highly recommended.

The staff is so knowledgeable and warm to newcomers to the sport. They host a variety of fun dives and trips, so check those out! The location is centrally located, has all the supplies a diver could need, and does tank fill ups.

The owner Gretchen is super nice and the staff are very helpful. Def recommend shopping with them, renting, or getting air tanks from them!!

Gretchen, David, and Justin were amazing instructors. Gretchen in particular helped calm me down 20 feet deep while I was having a minor panic during one of the skills assessments. I look forward to going on fun dives and acquiring more skills and certifications with this crew. I would give 6 stars if I could!

UWW and Gretchen are the best! Extremely patient with all my questions about gear and diving. Very supportive and encouraging on dives. Don’t think I would have made it through my certification without Gretchen’s calm demeanor.

I recently had the pleasure of becoming a certified PADI Open Water diver through Under Water Works. The instructors and divemasters were undeniably competent and incredibly patient. As someone who learned to swim as an adult, I felt like I was always in great hands. They knew exactly how to build my confidence in and above the water, and helped me to work through any mental/physical blocks. Thank you Gretchen, David, and Justin x2 for an amazing open water weekend and intro to scuba diving!For those who are already certified, they host monthly fun dives at different dive sites around the PNW. They provide dive site info, help pair up single divers, and even guide those who are beginners. Check out dates/locations on their website! My open water weekend dives occurred right before their fun dives, and it was encouraging to see other divers of all experience levels come together. It is truly a testament to UWW's love for PNW diving and the fostering of our local dive community. I can't wait to participate in them!

All of the staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about diving equipment. My fiance and I are learning how to scuba dive for our honeymoon, and they had a lot of helpful suggestions about what equipment we should buy, what to expect, and how to rent additional gear for our dives. Looking forward to attending some of the fun dives from the shop!

Looking to get PADI certified? Look no further than UWW! My partner and I just completed our Open Water Certification with Gretchen, Dave & Team, and I cannot express enough how helpful, patient and fun they were in this experience.I originally had gifted this experience to my partner so that we could explore the ocean beyond the surface and snorkeling. Obviously being new to Scuba, there was a ton that we did not know, but the entire team at UWW was there to help us with gear questions, explain the necessary skill and even help out with challenges that came during our Open Water weekend. They provide you with most of the necessary equipment, you just need to make sure you have a mask, snorkel and fins (all of which they also sell in their shop). The team is SUPER knowledgeable and passionate about the sport, and it shows even down to the volunteers. We can't wait to participate in their fun dives and return to further our certifications for PADI.Best part about it, is the people you meet in your classes and the community that they've built from their shop. Some even becoming friends through this shared experience.
