This is the second time we have used Lile in the past 3 years and they did a great job both times. We would like to comment on Kory Whittaker, the Relocation Consultant on the second move. He was just fabulous. Great communication throughout. He made sure that all went smoothly and he was in constant contact with us. Thank you Kory for a great experience!

Totally professional organization. Provided shipping alternatives and helped me choose the best one for me. Provided clear instructions, showed up on time to pack and packers were very polite, efficient and professional. Kept me informed every step of the way. I will be using them again, when the need arises.

Extremely disappointed. I was assured packaging by owner(PBO) was fine, they acknowledged the special labelling on the Items as packed showing "Fragile" & "This Side Up". But apparently that labelling didn't matter because that information was never given to the driver or the parent company. The laser cutter arrived on its side, cooling liquid all over the cutter in the box - totally destroyed. The delivery driver pushed to get the forms signed so he could get to his next delivery before I had any opportunity to inspect the full extent of damage. Now the parent company denied the damage claim only stating items packed by owner are not covered when there is no notation of damage on the deliver form so purchasing the extra insurance policy was utterly useless. I would not recommend in the future.

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Lile! I was terrified to hire a moving company because there are so many scams out there - couple that with the high price of moving cross country, and needless to say I was having trouble finding a fit for me.From the minute I spoke with Dave, everything, and I mean everything went smoothly!! He was super knowledgeable about what the costs would be, and gave me many pointers on my items. The price was SUPER fair (and since I kept selling things, it actually came in a little lower than quoted!). My driver was extremely nice and responsive - I always knew where I was in the process, and he kept me posted on when he would pick up and deliver.I had ZERO problems with this move, in fact it was one of the easiest I have ever managed! I highly highly recommend Lile for your next move - they are fair, friendly, knowledgeable, fast, efficient...I just can't say enough great things about this experience!!

I had a very good experience with Lile Moving, from David who promptly came to estimate my move, Natalie with support in the office and Douglas and his helper who packed my stuff in the truck. Good communication throughout. Everything on time. My stuff is going into storage out of state, so I can't speak about the delivery, but so far, so good.

We regret utilizing Lile Moving & Storage company and North American for our out-of-state move. These are a few of the issues we encountered: 1) Poor Communication * When we experienced shipping delays, we communicated with Lile Moving & Storage that we understood that these things can happen and our only request was that we be kept updated. However, this did not happen and when we attempted to reach Lile, they stopped answers our calls, voice messages and emails. * We only learned that our belongings had been shipped crossed state lines when the local moving company called us to coordinate a delivery date. Poor communication with Lile led to much unnecessary frustration for us. 2) Poor packing and destruction of property, many items are irreplaceable. * Family heirlooms and vintage furniture arrived without any wrapping/protection/blanket padding and items were simply stacked on top of other items, causing dents, broken pieces and items to be smashed. * Our child's custom Lego table was torn apart, and flat Lego boards that were superglued down to the table were ripped off. This egregious behavior was completely unnecessary and the table was destroyed. We had discussed the specifics of moving of our child's Lego table with the crew lead and we were reassured that these instructions would be followed. Our child's Lego table left our home and it was destroyed sometime at Lile Storage. Who would do that to a kid? * Our living room lamps were placed in garden supply containers amongst shovels, rakes, and unwrapped ceramic pots. The wiring of the lamps was destroyed. Our indoor air purifier and space heater were thrown into an unpacked garden box with the garden hose, unwrapped ceramic pots, and gardening odds and ends. * Many boxes arrived smashed, dented or torn apart. 3) We were overcharged. * Our moving costs included two components: weight and the number of boxes that Lile packed on our behalf. We opened many boxes that were partially/half-packed and "fluffed" with packing paper, which increased our costs. * Our Visa was charged the estimate by North American, long before our belongings had left the Lile warehouse, and before the shipment had been weighed. We also were overcharged for the number of boxes packed by Lile. When attempting to resolve this with Lile, who was still our point of contact, our calls and messages were not answered or returned. We ultimately had to engage Visa to dispute this charge, and Visa reversed the difference. 4) Dealing with the claims process is a part-time job. Since Lile contracts with North American, all claims get routed to North American. The claims process is time-consuming, frustrating, slow, and fraught with denials then appeals. We love our new home and community we live in, though Lile Moving & Storage, along with North American, certainly made the transition more stressful than it needed to be, and we would never use either company again. We had an excellent experience with our local moving company, AirVan Moving company and their service was exemplary on the back-half of our move. We wish you good luck with your move!

Much appreciation for Martin and his team of professionals!! They were efficient, timely, friendly, and handled my furniture and boxes with care. I have used many other moving companies for relocations in the past, but Lile by far has the best rates, they checked in with me to see how the movers were doing, if there were any issues or concerns, and continued communication with me until the job was completed. I will for sure use them for my next move and I would highly recommend Lile for your next move!

If you want old school cool PDX service and results call Lille!! Especially if you value your belongings highly for any reason.I would never trust another moving company. I have hired Lille for Packing and Moving at least 6 times. Additionally, I have used Lille’s storage facilities for over 1 year and they are the Best in PDX.the PDX area. Lille had been delivering great and personal service since before PDX was “cool.” If you want real old school PDX people and service call Lille. The price is great?, though not the cheapest but it is worth every penny.

We contracted North American Van Lines (the name Lile also does business under) for our family’s third cross-country move. They seemed great at first, our sales rep was a great communicator and made us feel very comfortable with our decision to hire them. However, things started to go downhill once the move was actually in progress. The movers left quite a bit of trash in our house after loading up the truck, which was annoying, but we cleaned up after them. But when our truck got to the final destination, on day 2 of the 6 day delivery window we were given, we were never updated on when it would be delivered. After contacting customer service ourselves, we found out that the local company responsible for delivering our items didn’t have any deliveries available for a week past our delivery window. It took 4 days, multiple calls and emails that did not receive responses, before we were finally able to speak to someone at the local delivery company, who said they “understand an early delivery would be preferable, however it is just not possible”. And by “early” they mean after our contracted delivery window. Despite positive reviews and recommendations I found when researching, it appears North American Van Lines is simply the name a lot of smaller delivery companies do business as and they do not actually handle your entire move. Our contact in our state of origin was from a different company and has nothing to do with the moving company in our destination city. The communication is absolutely terrible/non-existent, customer service is completely useless and just gives you the run around to people who won’t respond. As of this review, we are on the last day of our original delivery window and aren’t expected to receive it for another week. We don’t know where our items are, how they are being stored, if they’re being compromised in a hot truck for several weeks, or when we will for sure receive them. Oh, and the delayed delivery compensation for a $25k move is $100/day after the delivery window. Which isn’t even close to reasonable for not having any of your life’s belongings and the incredible amount of stress and frustration caused by this company’s lack of professionalism and competency.
