I dont have enoigh experience with the place to say much abput who works there ? but my concern is how do I reach your customer servixe directly in silverton!? So hard to speak to someone. There is so much options but to speak with someone there is not options for customer service or to speak with representative/or like on agent etc. The closest was technical support. I don't have any technical support. Just had question about something else

A package was miss placed in Portland instead of being delivered to me in Silverton. Toby helped me handle this and he was very kind and thoughtful. He went above and beyond anything I expected! That was yesterday. He called me today to tell me my package had been found and would most likely show up the next day. Silverton Post Office is the best! Thank you so much Toby!

During the seven years I lived in Silverton, I experienced numerous issues with the local post office and their incompetent mail carriers. I constantly received neighbors’ mail, and my neighbors also received mine. Reporting these issues seemed to do no good. Laziness and incompetence reigns at this post office. Glad to have moved elsewhere.. Silverton is a nice enough town, but don’t expect much from the USPS branch there.

I have lived in Silverton for two years, and have had constant trouble with package deliveries. My packages are either not delivered, or thrown in my front yard (when this happens my items are damaged). Whenever I have come in to voice my frustrations, I am either given excuses as to why my items cannot be delivered at my address, or I am brushed off completely.

I have two kinds of experiences here. The first is generally positive, assuming that I have addressed and labeled everything to perfection or am making a purchase of stamps, there are no problems. The second experience is hard to describe, but absolutely negative. Every employee here seems to pride themselves on pedantic adherence to The Rules. If you have a problem, you will be met with a clipped recitation of said Rules. You will be expected to know The Rules even if you've never been informed of them. For example, there's a rule about how full a PO box is allowed to be. I did not know this rule until I got a USPS email that my box would be closed in 2 weeks because it was full. Thing is, it wasn't full. I called Silverton was told, "No, ma'am. Your box is fine. Just ignore the email." Yet last night, USPS emailed that my PO box is closed. I am dreading dealing with them based on how previous interactions have gone. The irony? I don't hate the USPS. I've been actively involved in national efforts to support the USPS and prevent privatization. Silverton's office, however, is a prime example of how a lack of competition breeds mediocrity. We wish that there was a zero star rating thats how bad our service is (its ongoing) they don't deliver our packages, and then they give us bad service when we complain about it.
