he was being racist to me and my little brother age 15 and me 16 screamed at us for going with our older cousin to see the turbo he had just gotten because we were interested in seeing his car because it looked cool to us he became to scream at us demanding us to get off his property then screaming at our older cousin to give him his 125 and leave then he came to record us as we were leaving and our car.

Won't even provide me a receipt for repairs he made me pay cash for. I drove all the way to his shop as he told me the repairs to my turbo were completed. I showed up to find out that the solenoid I had approved to replace was not installed. The guy helping me said I had to pay for the part before they could order it? Why not tell me that before I drive an hour to pick up the turbo? I would have gladly paid him for it so he could install it and have a completed turbo when picking up. Instead, I was forced to install a part that I paid him to install. I have been asking for a receipt now for a few weeks with no response. I emailed, text messages and left a voicemail. Make sure to get everything in writing if you decide to work with this business. He quoted me $600 plus parts. I agreed. Then he sent me an invoice for $1,150. I called asking why it was that much. He said well I told you it was $600 plus $300 for some part in the turbo that is needed every time. He did not tell me this. If so, why would he have ever mentioned $600. He should have sold it as $900 plus unforseen parts. I mentioned this to him and he told me to stop lecturing him, he's old enough to be my dad. I think Ken should stick to building the turbos and leave the business side to someone that knows how to bid jobs and work with the general public. Beware if you use this business as you will likely be frustrated in the end. Not once did he tell me I had to pay cash. Only when I asked him about the billing did he then say, now I am requiring you to pay cash and retracted the invoice he sent to my email that allowed me to pay with a card. Pretty shady business practices.

Called to see what they had to offer. First he says the turbo im putting on my truck is way too small after telling him what i have (motor/trans gears/tires) and it will Never spool.... for the second time i had to tell him what motor i had and he seemed confused, instantly he cahnged his mind and said it's way too small.......Turns out, if the guy on the other end thinks you're using the wrong parts, he'll say "we can't help you" and hang up on you.This place is just rude and apparently if you don't have thousands to spend, you're not good enough to talk to them about the products they have.... go somewhere else and save the headache.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Awful, Kent is a scam artist, built me a turbo that failed instantly. Claimed to want to warranty service it . Tried to charge full price and now holding my turbo hostage for 200$ I never agreed on.I used Kent before he has gone downhill. Watch out

Would not recommend very unprofessional how things are done. Could not pay with card or drop off cash even tho I was very local.. had to be mailed so maid it inconvenient since it takes DAYS to get there . Also the owner blocked me and would not give me update my tuner had to pick it up also VERY unprofessional

The owner said $900. when i went to pick up my turbo the price jumped up $1300 from what he told me. Then told me they had to do alot of Machining work to the exhaust housing which I did not approve of Them doing it. He just did it then wanted me to pay for it. And Then he wouldn't expect card as a payment and wouldn't give me a receipt for anything

Would not recommend this guy to anyone. Kent is possibly one of the most shady businessman out there, I'm simply amazed he's still open. Don't trust anyone that offers anyone including non customers 20$ to leave a good review. He is very paranoid and blames his customers for his shoddy repairs. Kent is exhibit A on why chracheads and schizophrenics should not make babies together

Hands down best experience I've had with ANY automotive related company around. Kent and his team were very professional, and more than willing to build whatever needed to happen! Very knowledgeable, and taught me so much. I was walked through the shop and he hand picked and showed me every single piece that was going to be incorporated into my custom turbo build. This will not be my last turbo from Kent and his experts! I would highly recommend this company for any of your turbo needs! Can't wait for a set of twins for my truck now!

Kent is a good salesmen, that's it. When you have questions or a problem he is quick to deflect the issue and blame someone. My truck ran hot and he was quick to blame my tuner, I swapped out his turbo and my truck runs cooler. I provided Kent with this information and his response was deleting me on Facebook. He is a drama queen and his social media posts show that. If you need a turbo please shop elsewhere so you don't end up with a $1500 paper weight like me.Kent, grow up.

Had a customer in need of a GT47. Messaged Kent on Facebook. He said he “probably” had one, wasn’t sure. Meanwhile my customer was down, needed a turbo, went elsewhere. Kent messages me a day later asking do i want this turbo. I simply said no. He starts blasting me how i wasted his time, he was busy and didn’t have time for this. This is the same guy i sent numerous people to for turbos. So i blast him back (private message) and he proceeds to post my message on Facebook for all to see. Last i looked 4 hours later, he’s still blasting me. Take advice, Kent Barnes needs serious mental help. I was told in the beginning, he was like this. But i give everybody one chance. Well, he proved what kind of arrogant person he really is. I would not recommend anybody asking him for the time of day.

Kent is the man he built my turbo on a few days notice . We had a miss communication on a couple things when I showed to grab the turbo.he went above and beyond to make things rite .The turbo he built me seems to be strong and the truck rips. I' Id recommend him 1000x over. I'm excited to have built this relationship with turbocharger systems. I'll be back for all my go fast turbo needs for years to come .

Kent will not do something as simple as balance my new billet k04xlb hybrid, first excuse is he doesn't do strictly just balancing, then it was he doesn't work on anything but borgwarner. I would not recommend to anyone
