My cable line went down during the winter storm. It’s been over a month now and I’ve contacted Astound four times with no resolution, they just keep assigning case files and saying that they will get back to me in 24-48 hrs. In my opinion this is terrible customer service and if a different internet provider was available in my area I would happily leave astound.

While Wave Astound's phone support is terrible, I'm so glad I found this office in Sandy. I should've come in years ago. Kyle is a fantastic help - he understood the problems and needs I had and resolved them immediately. He's patient, has wonderful customer service, and has expertise that's greatly appreciated.If you're having issues with billing or needing to open a new account, I'd highly recommend coming into the office to get support rather than getting phone support.

The service is not great most of the time. But, if there is a power outage you will lose internet as well. Odd, given other available providers can still provide internet in a power outage. When I've called for tech support to come out for just generally terrible service outside of these power outage issues, it is a mixed bag. You may get a knowledgeable and helpful tech or a useless tech that will require yet more phone and service calls. Definitely avoid their services if you have other options. I'll be switching asap. That is for sure. This current situation with power outages is unacceptable going on day 6 now with no updates worth a damn or end in sight. We've had power back for a couple of days now and still no internet.

They don't back their equipment up with power when we lose power so even if I have generator power there's no internet from them. Which means I also have no cell service where I live. I would recommend researching other options before signing up with Astound. Their facilities were damaged close to where I live last Saturday. They say on a recording that we'll be back in service by midnight... that's 5 days down so far.

Astound is the most unreliable Internet I have ever used. It is frequently down for hours and has currently been down for coming up on four solid days. They are the only provider out here in Brightwood and use that to take advantage of their customers.

Definitely the worst experience ever! The "tech support" is a nightmare! They have no trainning! Everyone has their own opinion about how their internet work! I wanted to change xfinity but I couldn't because I need the connection asap, I call xfinity and I got internet transfer in 5 minutes literally.

I made an account just to leave a review. Been with wave for well over 5 years and I honestly feel like I’m being scammed. Customers have to manually re sign up for “promotional pricing” and are up charged without warning once it expires. 40 dollars higher than my normal bill automatically taken out. They’ve done this to me numerous times. I don’t know how much longer wave will get away with this unethical business model and I hope it catches up with whoever came up with this policy. Seems like they’re banking on people not checking their statements in time to mitigate it. I feel bad for the customer service employees who take the brunt of people’s frustration. I’ll be canceling my account as fast as possible.

DO NOT USE ASTOUND IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. They randomly change our statement without any explanation and refuse to put us in touch with the financial department. The connection is just ok and it goes out frequently. Our statement doubled over the last month with no reasoning and when I called to inquire they said payment didn’t go through even though it’s set up on auto pay and the funds were in the account. I have bank statements proof! Their customer service is a joke the customer seems to be always wrong in their eyes. You’re truly the worst astound. Will be considering switching providers.

Astound are a bunch of scammers. They refuse to honor their online promotional pricing deals, even when you have a receipt from them clearly laying out the discount and duration. I am being charged $60 a month instead of $45 like on the agreement I signed. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASTOUND.

We live in a rural small community and they know how to monopolies the little guys. I pay $100 a month for internet that drops signal when it rains or the wind blows. Never vet any assistance in customer service or lack there of.

Use to have my internet through a different company, then Astound bought them up. Now they raise my rates every few months and they never tell it's going to happen. Price has gone up 60% this last year.

The techs have no idea what they are talking about. My service is absolute garbage and I pay for 1gb speed which is almost $100 a month! I rarely can use my internet and when the tech came out he was no help at all. Told me everything is fine even though our modem is restarted multiple times a day when we lose internet.

Sandy branch staff of Astound are awesome. Kyle got my bill down and locked into a 2 year price! Very happy with them.
