A dedicated staff of volunteers who are willing to provide the endless hours needed to help those in need make the variety of services offered here possible. The patience and dedication they demonstrate on a daily basis is truly amazing. Their non judgemental sincere concern and caring is evidence of their commitment to every individual who walks in their door asking for assistance. Instead of feeling like you are being given a handout based on pity you leave with the feeling someone honestly just wanted to give you a hand up and that they understand everyone goes through hard times. Whether it is a food box, counseling or one of the other many services they provide it is the individuals who selflessly commit their time who make this place truly special.

Great place to go when in need of help. They do not push any religion in loo of trade for food or services.

This is one of the best rescources in Portland - offering food bank, help with Vis/dental /meds /counseling...all staff have been superb - I feel blessed to have this option available to me -they also have a thrift store and a rec room offering free showers on Friday nites for anyone. These are two different addresses though.

This church is as good as it gets as far as community benefits go. They are caring and offer a wide range of services for the poor and economically challenged. Although anyone is able to ask for assistance and it is given with grace. It does not give out money freely as well it shouldn't. It does arrange for help with variety. Such as dental, sight, food boxes and that is a small list. I can't recommend this wonderful church highly enough. They have given me and many I know services we would not be able to get elsewhere.

Awesome place. Kids got new school clothes that they got to pick & try on, backpacks full of school supplies plus gift cards for shoes. Apply on their site. Decent for pantry. Got my PGE bill paid+extra. Not all in one single visit but these are some of the services I was able to access.
