The hotel was very clean overall, including the room. The room was also spacious (we had a king) with all the usual amenities. There were also ample outlets for all of our devices. Our room was also pretty quiet. The only slightly wonky aspect was our shower took a little bit to get the hot water going. The location was also good. There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. It's also situated next to some parks which was nice.Overall it was a great place to stay.

Loved the cozy atmosphere and prime location of this hotel. Outstanding business services, along with the beautiful views of Portland. I would definitely come back. The rooms are cozy and clean. Just a lovely place.

Great hotel in a very convenient location. Lots of security and blue jackets in the area so we felt safe (latest we were out was 9:30 PM) Lounge bar and restaurant in the lobby turned out to be the best dining options on our March visit Saturday night. Also shout out to the longe bar staff for their patience with international travellers not knowing the ‘no under 21 yrs in the lounge’ rule:) they served us our 10 pm dinner meal in the lobby area in plates and glasses, no take out containers. You made our night! Thank youLobby was also very nice with people lounging but nothing too overwhelming or loud. Friendly front desk too!

Nice hotel in what should be a nice neighborhood. Nice hotel located downtown by theaters near the pioneer courthouse. Stayed there four nights last week. Excellent service, especially the front desk staff. There's a restaurant and bar in the lobby. Water pressure in the shower was kind of week but we stayed on the 11th floor. Only bad thing about this place is the neighborhood. There are drug addicted mentally ill people everywhere on the streets. Saw people passed out and overdosed all around. There's a CVS two blocks away, with everything locked behind glass and armed guards. Do they not have police in Portland? I would definitely stay in this hotel again if it were somewhere else or they cleaned up the neighborhood.

Great location. Room was about holiday in express level with a 90'sbathroom. $30 amenities few, and you still don't have coffee in the hotel until the restaurant opens and even then no coffee to go. Restaurant is closed between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner so no off our food. Why are we paying an amenities fee again? There are plenty of other hotels in the area sane price or less that have coffee and a restaurant that's open before 9 a.m. and no amenities fee.

Public hair in bath tub. Unprofessional rudeness and inexcusable unfriendliness from front desk staff. Two bath towels for two people(similar class hotels always provide four towels for two people). Worn sheets that would not stay in place on mattress. Loud yelling outside after midnight that continued for several hours. Temp hard to adjust and loud. A hold placed on credit card for a $75 “security fee” and also an unanticipated “resort fee”.Rooms: This hotel once outstanding has declined in recent years and is badly in need of a thorough cleaning and refurbishing.

As always, the staff were wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend the Paramount hotel, not only for the value, the rooms are clean and well maintained.Food & drinks: The restaurant and bar are extremely reasonably priced.

Great place to crash after an awesome evening of Jon Batiste music, especially with so many restaurants around to catch a late night bite to eat. Great wheelchair access too. For parking, park yourself next door and save a good deal of money.

The property is in the heart of city centre Portland. We were close to Kinokuniya (which appealed to us and our love of manga and Japanese merchandise). It was also easy to get to all sides of Portland with very little traffic or congestion within the suburbs of Portland. There is a nice restaurant within the hotel and an upscale bar with a good selection of scotch, whiskey or other accoutrements for drinking. It’s great if you want a more slower pace for the day.The front desk staff were accommodating and friendly, special shoutout to Earl as he gave really great restaurant, sights and other things to see in the area. He was friendly and also helped us find more affordable parking in the area as valet parking was quite cost prohibitive.I suggest Fox Tower or South Park (all within a block of the hotel) for safer parking spaces. We picked South Park as they lock the building by 11pm and kept our car safe overnight.Don’t let the homeless population deter you from exploring the area and the walking around. There were some in the area of the hotel building. It’s everywhere in other parts of the US and Canada, so it isn’t something that should stop you from loving this city.Walkability: Easily walkable to great food trucks, shopping and Powell’s bookstore (which was a huge treat)!Food & drinks: No room service but good options on the main floor for restaurant; you can bring the entire food with you upstairs and just leave the dishes outside and will be picked up by housekeeping with no concerns.Noteworthy details: The front desk staff was fire! ?
