My dining room table shopping experience lasted all of 5 minutes - I walked in, immediately fell in love with a pull leaf teak table, and bought it on the spot. The size was perfect and even better yet, the price was perfect. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I went in looking for some used furniture and the guy was able to show me some stuff that would have worked.. but it was outside of my budget, so he gave me a handful of suggestions. Really nice stuff in there and the guy was very helpful.

I fell in love instantly with a beautiful dining room table, which they delivered to my house even though I live across the city. I also got some chairs that they did a great job getting re-upholstered with my favorite shade of blue. Everything was done so kindly and carefully and I know I'll be back for some more furniture in the future!

I go in here from time to time and there's a range of furniture. They don't have much for a contemporary selection but what they do procure is worthwhile. Recently I was looking for a new living room table and the owner had one that just got into the store. This piece was literally the only item without a price tag since it just got there. Rather than turn me away she made a call and got the price and item ready for me. I think this business is very honest, has a good quality product, and you'd be happy with what you bought. I've had my table for several months now and am still very happy with my purchase. I would easily step into this place to make another purchase and you should have no reservations about doing the same.

We moved to the Portland area in 2022 and since then have bought several pieces from Michael at Red Snapper. He really knows his stuff! He has beautiful mid-century furniture that is well curated and in excellent condition. Has a good turnover so worthy of a return visit if you don't see what you're looking for. He is all about customer service and a real pleasure to work with. We visited there and then went to 4 or 5 other stores, only to return to red snapper to make our purchases. Check this place out!!

Michael does an amazing job of collecting and restoring beautiful, solid wood furniture at excellent prices. We purchased a dining set and three teak bookshelves and they came out beautifully. In particular, the reupholstering of the dining chairs was excellent. Wish we could've gotten more items.

Excellent customer service - I contacted Michael regarding selling some Heywood Wakefield furniture and other mid-century pieces from my brother’s estate. As the other reviews have mentioned he is very knowledgeable and shared insight on the pieces. We came to a fair offer; he picked up the pieces the same day and payment was sent immediately. No hassle great experience!

I LOVE Red Snapper! We have been going here for furniture for many years and always trust that they will have the best quality, beautifully restored, and reasonably priced items. We now own a couch, recliner, credenza, and two dressers from Red Snapper. The owner, Michael, is always so knowledgeable and kind. Every time we see him it's like chatting with an old friend. Red Snapper is our go to place for vintage furniture.

What a fantastic little shop! We found the most amazing mid century dining table and gorgeous cat’s eye chairs and at a price that amazed me! Go check out this shop in downtown Milwaukie and if you love mid century like I do then you’ll walk out with something beautiful! The owner loves what he does and it shows through his work and how passionate he is about his pieces! You won’t be disappointed!
