These folks are the best! We have on of these charming little Portland houses that regular furniture is way to giant for. So perch helped us with a a custom sized sofa and chair. Both peices are high quality, lovely and fit our room perfectly. Amelia and Jonathan are both super helpful and easy to work with.

Had a lovely time ordering a sectional from Perch at the end of last year. The manufacturing timeline was very accurate and the couch arrived this past week. The freight company was careful on their delivery, and the couch itself is very comfortable and well built. By a pretty significant gap this is the nicest piece of furniture I've ever owned, and Perch was great to work with, giving us good advice and clear guidance on the many options you have when ordering a custom sofa (etc).

5 Stars is not enough
We were informed from a friend about Perch, and I am so happy that we were. We purchased a custom sleeper sofa and 2 side chairs. I am so happy in so many ways.
Please know that you will have to be decisive, but if you are fortunate enough to work will Alison your in good hands.
Take your time, think things out, the whole staff has got you for your questions, concerns, and understanding of their process. Now that sounds like a project, but buying a custom piece of furniture that is dialed to your space takes work on both sides.
I am so happy.
So we made our decisions, paid deposit, got delivery early than anticipated. Our side chairs had some scuffing. Call and Alison was on it. Emailed photos of the issues with the chairs, within an hour we had a result. 2 new chair frames have been replaced.
I could not encourage you more to work Perch. They know their business and will make sure your happy with your decisions.

We bought our house a year ago and knew that we needed a great couch to start building our family room around. We shopped all over town, but ultimately decided to go with Perch and it ended up being a great decision. We love our couch and anyone looking for a new couch should start here. We were able to customize it to exactly meet our needs while still staying within budget. Great product and even better service.

Bought a couch from Perch two years ago and it’s so fantastic that we have designed our entire living room aesthetic around it. Great owners, great product. My mom bought a chair from Perch on our recommendation and also loves it.

Great locally owned furniture shop! We absolutely love our sofa, the team at Perch was so friendly and knowledgeable. They worked with our designer to create the perfect sofa. They even have a loaner sofa program so waiting for our custom piece was painless. I highly recommend them!

I've had my sofa for about 5 months now, and I couldn't be happier.
The team was fantastic, it was the easiest buying process I've had for such a large purchase.
Price is spendy, but the quality is absolutely worth it.

If you are in the market for a sofa, want to have the assurance of purchasing local and working with "real people," want the best quality on the market at a reasonable price point, there's no question - go with Perch. Now, the thing is, you may have to wait. And this is no fault of Perch - we all know how the supply chain issues have effected our daily lives. I ordered my custom-made Burnside sectional (custom size, material and wood base) at the end of December 2021, and it was finished with production in August 2022. They were very upfront that it would take 6 months, and they came in within 1 month of that which is pretty amazing considering how unpredictable supply chain issues are these days (I work in supply chain for one of the worlds largest retailers - a local sportswear company ;) - and let's just say I'm impressed. Not only did they keep me updated all along the way, but I worked with one person at the store, and then one person during production. Amelia even dropped off fabric samples at my house going above and beyond.
Now to the sofa itself. My vision was to replace a sofa and two chairs in my living room with one piece of furniture that my family of 3, plus friends could all enjoy together. The sofa is of AMAZING quality, absolutely beautiful, and my teenage sons and I spend the majority of our time that we spend together - in this room now. The sofa has literally brought us closer together and created more family time! I recommend going with an extra wide depth if this is your goal. I recently had a friend visit and I don't have a guest room, so I gave her my bed and slept on the sofa. It was a wonderful night's sleep and with the 40" depth of the cushions), it's almost as wide as a twin bed. It doesn't have the noticeable "slope" that some sofas so making it awkward to sleep on. (It may have a slight slope but it's unnoticeable). I am in love with my sofa and so grateful for Perch - no doubt I will return to them for my furniture needs.

Ordered my second sofa from Perch. Ordering something custom is always a bit nerve wracking as it's sight unseen but it came out beautifully and you can tell it is quality! It also arrived earlier than estimated which was a nice surprise.

I would highly recommend Perch if you're in the market for a new couch. From start to finish Jon, the owner, was attentive and helpful. Ordering was easy and delivery was prompt and smooth.

Love my new orange couch. The design, quality and comfort are all excellent and this has got to be the coolest sofa store ever. It's worth going in just to see the chalk whale mural.
