Working with Pacific Motorsports has seriously been one of the best experiences I’ve had with any mechanic ever. I first took my BMW X5 to them in 2023 after the BMW dealership quoted me 14,000 dollars for repairs. My car definitely needed a lot, but these guys got me out the door under $6k and addressed numerous issues that the dealership wasn’t even going to fix at the $14k price tag. Fast forward to this weekend when I had an issue with my car, they got it in immediately, did diagnostics, addressed the issue, and the current ETA for the car being ready to pick up is this week as long as they can get the parts on time. I live over four hours away, and thankfully I was in Portland when I had my most recent breakdown, but had I been at my home, I’d sooner pay out of pocket to have my car towed 250 miles to get it to Pacific Motorsports before taking it to the BMW dealership. Awesome guys who are honest and great about explaining problems in a way that people who aren’t knowledgeable about cars can understand. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Staff are nothing short of awesome at Pacific Motorsports! Super helpful with scheduling and making sure all your questions are answered. Big bonus & a super happy customer when my Mini comes back all sparkly clean after servicing. Hot tip: check out the bathroom, it's epically weird and is in competition with washing as my favorite part of bringing my car here. And, yes, the mechanics are top notch too.

Start to finish, I had a wonderful experience at Pacific Motorsports. Beginning with a full vehicle report sent via text, I had a clear understanding of what the issue with my vehicle was, as well as a full run down of the condition of everything else under the hood. Secondly, Chris was extremely kind and knowledgeable on the phone and in person. Lastly, my car was fixed promptly, including a hand wash and vacuum (thanks you guys!). All around it was a really great experience and I’ll definitely be brining my Mini Cooper back the next time she needs some love.

They really do excellent work here. They are communicative, patient, and diligent. I've never had any reason not to trust them. I've brought in my 2011 mini convertable four times over the past year and a half, and each time they were able to quickly diagnose the problem, give me a detailed breakdown of the costs in repairing it, and execute that repair in the time they said it would take. My mini enters a sad broken vessel, and emerges each time full of life and humming a joyous tune, with a grand but ultimately unattainable goal of going 5000 miles without another catastrophic issue. You gotta hand it to the little guy. Maybe this time!I love my mini more than my girlfriend finds reasonable, and have been so far unwilling to cut my losses with it despite an absolute downpour of new issues that keep popping up. My friends, my family are all begging me to stop, but I nonetheless push forward, sinking many multiples of the resale value of the car into repairs. And to that end, there's no better place to go than to the good people at Pacific Motorsports, who are always there to help me out and I genuinely couldn't be more grateful.Chris is always incredibly patient with me as I begrudgingly come to terms with each new repair bill. On my last visit, I had some concerns about being incorrectly charged for a service, and he very carefully walked me through each piece of my invoice, including photos of my engine and the work done which set my mind at ease and was much appreciated. You pay a slight premium for their expertise, but it's just that - expertise. They know their stuff, and it's a fair trade to support an excellent business with excellent people. They do really great work, and are always going the extra mile. I'm happy to continue going to PCM for as long as my mini continues to lighten my wallet.
